Meliodas X Reader

chapter 6

       'What's wrong with me?'
   
        'Is it because of all the tests and blood samples?'

    'I don't understand'

             (Y/n) thought, clenching her fists. Her hair shadowed her face. A tear or two falling down her cheeks.
    "You okay?" Meliodas turned around and stopped walking. Soft breezes swayed the trees back and fourth. The wind blew their hair every now and then.

    (Y/n) then calappsed to her knees. "Ww-why couldn't I-I do a-any-thing?"
She looked at her hands. Thinking about what those doctors did to her. 'All those tests, did they do this? How?why? Am I that weak they had to do this?'

    Meliodas stood there trying to figure out what was going on. "(Y/n) what's wrong?" "I-......I........I don't know." She looked into the blonde boy's emerald eyes. They weren't as bright as usual. "You should go check on Elizabeth." (Y/n) still sat on the ground looking in the distance. Trees hiding their shadowed figures.

    "She's asleep, I think I'll sit for a bit." He winked smiling. ' Her butt felt nice' He smirked in his head. (Y/n) sighed giving in. "We should go then, before we lose Hawk's mom." "Okay." Meliodas held a blank expression, while also looking the direction of where the giant pig should be.

          The two headed back to the boar hat. Not talking much. Once they got there. Meliodas jumped up, (y/n) doing the same. (How y'all be jumpin so high?) Both headed straight for bed. Meliodas showed her the 3rd room all the way upstairs. 'How can such a small hut have this many rooms?' (Y/n) thought flopping onto the cushioned surface.

    De next day

    "(Y-y/n)?" A soft voice and knock was heard on the door. "Yea?" "Um... Sir-Meliodas said we're at vanya village so if you could please come down that would be nice." (Y/n) groaned while slumping off the bed. Today since all the clothes were washed, she decided to wear the dress and boots Meliodas gave her. "Its cute so why not?" She smiled, puttin her hair in a side ponytail and left a bit of hair out on one side. (If you have short hair, you can do a half up half down with a clip.) Hurriedly she rushed down the stairs. "What's for breakfast?" She asked.

           "Eggs 'n' bacon" Meliodas said "WATCH IT!" Hawk yelled. Everyone only chuckled. 'What could go wrong with bacon and eggs? All you do is put them in pans and let them cook.' (Y/n) made a plate, the food smelt and looked delicious. Elizabeth also grabbed a plate. Everyone sat around a table. Waiting for someone to take a bite. (Y/n) grabbed a piece of bacon. Everyone stared intensely. She stopped in her tracks. "Are you guys okay?"

            Meliodas groped Elizabeth. "I think I'm just fine" "s-sir Meliodas!" Elizabeth squealed as Hawk punched his hand off. Rolling her eyes (y/n) took a bite of the bacon. She immediately almost died. "How the fuck did you mess that up??!!" She yelled scooting the plate away from her. "I think I lost my appetite." Elizabeth smiled also scooting her plate away. "Then, lets get to the village." Meliodas walked to the door, the others following.

(Y/N) P.O.V

While we walked through thebvillage, we noticed all the dead bushes along the river. "This is where the best ale is made, the waters full of fresh herbs." "Well not anymore look." Elizabeth pointed to the bushes along side the dry river. "What's going on here?" Meliodas said.

  "It looks like a festival." Elizabeth said 'Yea, cuz at festivals people are very angry.' My face blanked. "Hey, what's this festival about?" I mentally facepalmed meliodas said this. Did he seriously just ask that? "DOES THIS LOOK LIKE A FESTIVAL TO YOU." "Hey its thay bar owner." The people said. "A holy knight stuck a sword in the ground cuz of mead!" Others yelled. "IF MY FRIENDS THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS WERE HERE, THAT SWORD WOULD BEBOUT BY NOW!" A little boy I assumed was Mead. "Shut up mead if it weren't for you this never would have happened!" A short lady spoke. 'This is going to get annoying.  I thought standing behindnthe kid along with Meliodas. Kids then started throwing rocks. 'Ochie, why are dey trowing dem at us?' The rocks only ended up hitting me and Meliodas. He quickly.dragged the kid named 'Mead' back to the tavern.

  "Why did the holy knight stab tjat sword in thet ground?" Me and Meliodas sat down along with Mead. "Hmm,  hungry.".the kid said. I sighed. This is going to be a while. Meliodas made a bit of "food", giving it to the poor kid. "R.I.P" i sighlently muttered under my breath. He took a bite and threw up on the floor. "THAT WAS HORRIBLE!"  "Hey I never said it would bengood food. Now, give us answees." "Hmph your food gave me amnesia." Mead lied. Elozabeth and hawk then walked in. "Hey Mead, do you play all those pranks the villagers say you do to get attention? Because when I was a kid I used to always get try to get my father's attention cuz I wasn't his real daughter. One time I climbed a tree so high my Dad ran up to save me he fell and if he died I would never forgiven myself." Elizabeth started.

    " the only reason I put a bug in that holy Knights drink is because he disrespected our ale and how hard we worked on it. He offended all of us in our village." Mead spoke. "And what about the being friends with the 7 deadly sins?" Meliodas questioned the kid while sipping ale with his leprechaun self.

     " that was just a lie for the holy night because if the holy nights are the ones causing ruckus around the world then what does that make the seven deadly sins??" I chuckle at his response sighlently. 'What a kid, lying all the time.' We all then headed back, after a bunch of talking about hos past and his parents getting sick and dying. Once we got out Mead trued to pull the sword.

*timeskip*

"Mead we'll always except you!" The villagers cheered. Mead cried. "You can lie to yourself all you want, but you can't fool your own heart." I heard meliodas say. "That was deep." I said lppking at.him with sad eyes. It reminded me of my last contact with certain people I shared a cell with. They ended up dying, due to all the tests and blood samples.

    We all headed back to the boar hat afrer getting the beer. We served the people, getting some coins. We overheard one of mead's conversations with that one short lady. "You know boys who get too big for their britches get sent to the white forest of dreams." She huffed at him. "White forest of dreams?" I spoke a little confused, I coild tell Meliodas was curious. "It's where not even the toughest of holy knights go!I promise ill be good anywhere but their!" He cried into the lady's shirt.

   "I think I know where we're going next aye Meliodas?" I laughed. Elizabeth smiled, Meliodas only nodded and winked. "Hawk's mom won't be able to go through it though. So we'll have to walk. In almost posotive we will find a sin in there.
