Sweat beaded on Grace's forehead.
She tossed restlessly and muttered what sounded vaguely like "Page.......n- not again....no, not again....m- my f- fault.....need..to..find...her..." Then there was some incoherent babbling as Grace tossed more aggressively, began kicking, and the heart rate monitor beeped quicker.
Before I could call a doctor in, there was already one.
I stood up from my chair, taking deep breaths to prevent the anxiety attack I knew was coming.
I was vaguely aware of the fact that I hadn't eaten anything in...oh God- a week.
2?
Maybe 3?
The room began spinning and it was no longer the anxiety attack or slowing beeps from the heart rate monitor or the team if doctors that had rushed in that was my concern.
I collapsed onto the ground and everything went black.
