Chapter 5

"This is lovely" John said and sat down next to me.

"Yeah. It is" I sighed in satisfaction and looked at John. In the sunlight his hair is a light shade of brown and his eyes light up and I'm able to see a little bit of green in his eyes. John's dog barked and rolled in the sand. I giggled and John looks at me.

Johns POV

My dog rolled around in the sand and made satisfying barks. He must be having fun since it's the first time he is on a beach and feeling the sand against him. I watched him stand up on his four legs and I heard a soft giggle. I turned to look at Y/N, who let out the giggle.

Me and Y/N were talking home. I held her hand and she smiled sweetly. I just love her so much, her smile, her sweet scent, the way she walks and talks, the way her hair flows and everything about her drives me insane. I just want to be with her all the time but I can't and that saddens me.

"John?" Her sweet voice called.

"Yes" I answered and looked at her.

"Promise me. You'll never forget me when you leave" She looked at me, pouting slightly. She clinged onto my arm with her E/C eyes looking at me. Her lips pressed out a bit. I stopped walking and she did too.

"I promise I won't forget about you" I know I was lying to her and I hated it and I hate why I'm doing this. I don't want her hurt or dead. I don't want to bury her body, I want her to have a happy life since her dad is a dickhead for leaving her and her mother. He left behind a beautiful and sweet daughter, someone with many potential.

"Thanks John. I love you" She said sweetly and her lips formed a smile and she sounds happy, just the way I want her to be.

"I love you too"
