Chapter 12

I finished my unpacking and checked my phone and still no new messages.

"I guess I could go out. Chad should be close by" I said looking around the room I'm in. I grabbed my phone, wallet and my keys as I left the room. I locked the door behind me and made my way out the hotel and I took my phone out. I called my best friend Chad and he answers.

"Heyyyyyyyy bestie" His gay voice says excitedly over the phone.

"Hey" I replied, smiling.

"What is up? Got any new gossip to put in the teen gossip magazine and website?" He asked.

"No and if I did, why should I tell you?" I said, teasing him and I heard his whines over the phone.

"Like I could be paparazzi and all that but you know I'm a busy man, getting the lastest gossip, fashion and celebrity crushes" He says whining as he does causing me to giggle.

"Anyway you big dork, I have good news" I said.

"Oh, go on. Tell me honey" He says.

"I'm in Rome" I said and immediately heard him make happy and excited noises.

"OH MY GOD! YES! FINALLY!" He screamed over the phone.

"Now, we can finally do some shopping together and hang out like we used to" He says excited.

"I'd love that. I'm making my way to your house. I'll be there is a few minutes" I said.

"Yes! You better get your ass over here. I have big news for you too" He said and I could hear the joy in his voice.

"Sure. See you soon" I said and hang up the phone as I began to walk to his house. Along the way I saw a small bakery with all kinds of cakes displayed. I walked into the shop and ordered some red velvet cupcakes and cookies, Chads favorite. I took the cupcakes and cookies as I left the shop and got to his house. I knocked on the door and it immediately flew open, revealing my gay friend.

"Hey girl" He says and welcomed me into his house. I walked in and immediately felt comfortable and a calming vibe.

"I brought some red velvet cupcakes and some cookies" I said and it caught his attention, his eyes widen in happiness.

"Oh my god. You remembered my favorite dessert" He says, happily.

"Yes. How can I forget? Here" I gave him his favorite dessert and he takes it.

"Sit down" He says, his eyes not leaving the red velvet cupcakes. I chuckled and sat down on one of his chairs. It was comfortable and soft and he soon sat down. He placed the cupcakes and cookies down on the coffee table as he crossed his legs.

"So what brings you here? You missed me?" He asked and gave a dramatic pose. Chad was always one of a kind, he is sweet, funny, energetic and caring. He is gay and people don't like him because of his sexuality but he doesn't care. Chad have natural ginger hair and grey eyes, he is currently wearing a pink crop top and baggy sweatpants with rainbow socks.

"Uhm. I dunno.....of course I missed you and I decided since I just wanna see you again bestie" I said and it caused him to smile widely.

"Yes dear. I have goood news!" He exclaims happily.

"Oh. Tell me" I was curious and I leaned forward, placing my albows on my knees.

"Sooooooo. I have a boyfriend" He said and I jumped up in excitement and brought him into a tought hug.

"Oh my god. I'm so happy for you!" I yelled I'm excitement.

"Hey. Let me go!" He chuckles.

"Why? I'm so happy for you" I said, letting him go as he giggles.

"What is his name?" I asked as I sat down.

"Oh its Alex" He said with a slight blush.

"Aww. How long?" I asked, interested.

"Its been 2 years" He said.
