Tara parked the car outside of a small coffee shop yet paused before getting out, she knew that as soon as she found her sister her life would most definitely change and so would Nicole's. She sighed and looked at the picture from their childhood wishing somehow things would have been different and they could have grown up as sisters, even with all the arguments and squabbles they'd still be sisters. Tara always wanted that but never thought that that would be even possible, as a child she had quickly forgotten about Nicole but when she saw those pictures her memories of holding her newborn sister resurfaced. She wondered if Nicole had siblings now but her main priority was finding her and telling her the inevitable truth.
She let out the breath she didn't even know she was holding, unfastened her seatbelt and started to open the car door. "Hey don't think you're getting out before talking to me first!" Willow smiled turning Tara round to face her and pushing a loose stand of Tara's hair behind her ear "What's going through that pretty head of yours?"
"I'm just worried about her reaction you know, like what if she hates me-" her ramble was cut of by the soft feeling of Willow's lips gently pressing against hers, "Ok definitely not rambling now," she smiled at Willow and rested their foreheads together.
"See baby everything is gonna be ok I promise, nobody could ever hate you, you're amazing and I love you," Willow smiled.
"I love you too" Tara smiled back then got out of the car and went to the boot to get out her handbag.Wynonna Earp was searching through Purgatory for her sister Waverly Earp and her fiancée Nicole Haught, she had a pretty good idea where Nicole would be, either at work or at the homestead and where Nicole was Waverly was. They were head over heals for each other and you would usually find one with the other it was kinda like a two for one deal Wynonna thought to herself, she pretty much knew everyone in the small town so was surprised to see a car she hadn't seen before and was eager to investigate. She peeked over the top of the car to see two girls in about their late twenties getting something from the boot. From a distance away it would look like Waverly and Nicole but being Waverly's sister Wynonna knew it wasn't them it did look a little like them though. She decided to try and approach them and see why they were here and everything. "Hey you guys what brings you to Purgatory?" She inwardly cringed at how she sounded but decided to go with it anyway
Willow was surprised by someone taking notice to them but assumed it was just because it was a small town where everyone knew each other and there were rarely visitors. "Oh we're here for personal reasons, Tara thinks that a long lost relative might live so we came to see." She smiled at Wynonna
"Oh really? Who is it I might know them," Wynonna offered, intrigued to who it was
"Umm I'm not s-sure you'll know them I don't want to trouble you," Tara replied shyly
"You're not bothering me, really! I was just looking for my sister and her fiancée because I was bored so helping you would help me become un-bored!" Wynonna smiled getting more interested in who it was they were looking for.
"Really we don't want to be any trouble to you we can try and find her by ourselves!" Willow suggested.
Wynonna sighed and leaned a little against the car, "Fine but here's my number, call me if you need help," she handed them a piece of paper with her number on, hoping they would call her and she could find out who it was. There hadn't really been much going on in Purgatory so it would be good for Wynonna to do something other than constantly walking in on her baby sister and Nicole.
"Thanks for that," Tara smiled and watched Wynonna walk away and into the coffee shop.Nicole Haught was sat at her desk at the Sheriffs Office filling out some paperwork trying her best to ignore the gorgeous brunette who was sat on the reception desk swinging her legs happily and watching Nicole work.
"You know I can't focus on my work with you looking at me like that," Nicole smiled at Waverly.
"Then why don't you stop working?" Waverly teased.
"Well because it's my job, and I'm getting paid and I'm off in ten minutes." Nicole smirked.
"Deputy Sheriff Haught are you flirting with me on the job?" She teased "I might have to report you to Nedley" Waverly smirked at her, jumped off the desk, walked over to Nicole kissed her softly then walked back to the desk as if nothing happened.
"Oh you are evil Waverly Earp!" Nicole laughed shook her head playfully and started to do her paperwork again.
"Hey lovebirds I've been looking for you!" Wynonna called walking into the office.
"Well we've been here... for the last two hours" Waverly countered smirking at her sister, Waverly and Wynonna had always been close since being little kids and had only got closer since Wynonna came back to Purgatory.
"Oh shut up you!" Wynonna teased back, "So Deputy tater tot what's going on with you?"
Nicole rolled her eyes "Wynonna I told you to stop calling me that! And I'm working but I'm off in ten so if you want we could all maybe go out? To Shortys?"
"Yeah sure I'm always up for a drink! Waves?"
"Yep I'm good," Waverly smiled.
