Hello friends. Just a friendly reminder that Athena has been through a lot. And, right now, she's taking back her youth. She's taking back her early 20's. And, quite frankly, is being a little dumb about it.
She's suffering from PTSD, depression, and anxiety, which is clouding her actions. Don't hate her 💜

Christian gently handed her the plate with tamales on it, not looking her in the eyes. As they waited, the awkwardness grew and Christian thought even more about what happened. And, quite frankly, he was angry.
"Christian?" Athena said softly, placing a gentle hand on his back. She could see how tense he was.
"Do not touch me," he snapped, pushing her hand off of him. He knew better than to be violent, but her touch ignited so many things in him. He was hurt and her touch just reminded him of the intimacy they shared.
That meant nothing to her. He made her feel safe, so she used his dick to reinforce that. He was so stupid to think it was anything more. So stupid.
"I'm sorry," he heard the sad lilt in her voice, the touch of fear. He saw the sadness in her eyes when he turned to look at her. Then, it transformed into something that completely ignited the anger in his body: pity.
"I don't need your pity, Athena. I need you to think about how your actions affect others. Have you told Gio? Or did you just go back to your perfect relationship where you actually love the man you're fucking? Where he's worth more to you than just his dick and his apartment?" Christian snapped before shaking his head, getting up and going to the kitchen. He threw his plate in the sink, not flinching when it broke.
His body shook with the force of his emotions, bowing his head as he gripped the counter so tightly his knuckles turned white.
"Christian... It wasn't..."
"You are the only woman I've ever loved. The only woman I'm ever going to love. And I have no choice but to be happy for you. Because you found the love you deserve. You deserve so much love, Athena," he whispered, tears brimming in his eyes as he looked into her eyes. "You have been through so much. So much pain and hurt. You deserve what you have with Gio. He knows how to love a woman. He's done it before. He's a good man," he shook his head, staring at the ceiling as tears rolled down his cheek. He was too weak to stop them.
"Christian, please," Athena begged, her own tears clear in her voice. She hated seeing Christian in so much pain. Hated knowing that her actions caused that pain.
"You can have the apartment, Athena. You deserve the safety. You deserve the world," Christian said quietly. "I hope Gio gives you the world," he sighed, completely deflating as he gently took her face into his hands.
"Christian, please. I need you," Athena said softly, gently wiping his eyes. "I know I hurt you. And I am never going to forgive myself for that... But, please... I would be lost without you."
"You're so brilliant, Athena. You are so smart... Intuitive. You don't need me. You don't need any man," Christian sighed, gently wrapping his arms around her. "I kept you safe. I can't... I can't live with you anymore, Thenes. I need to be selfish. The entire city expects so much of me, and I can't give them that... I can't give them that when I have to see you in love with another man."
"I... Can we still be friends?" Athena whispered, her tears soaking through Christian's shirt. God she fucked up.
"Of course, sweetheart. My partner in crime," Christian sighed softly, kissing the top of her head. He was still in so much pain, but it would fade. Eventually he'd go back to fucking models like nothing happened.
