The Hunger Games

Unknown POV

"3." I look around at the other tributes. Some, like me, are looking confident, while the rest are shaking and looking in a direction opposite of the spawn chests. Ha! Noobs!

"2." I get into to position, ready to sprint straight to the closest chest.

"1." Lezz do dis!

"Go!" I run to the chest and open it. Inside lay a stone sword. OP! I turn around and see a person with a stone axe and a chain chestplate. I rush towards him and hit him a few times. The other player blindly slashes out, making him an easy target. I hear thunder echo around the arena. First kill! I pick up the guy's chestplate and put it on. I have no use for the axe, but he has food, which could be very valuable. I stuff it in my backpack (inventory) and take a quick look around. There is no one near me, so I decide to go North, towards the mountains.

Finally! That took at least twenty minutes of walking. Nothing much happened on the way here. A bit of loot , a few kills, nothing too interesting. I did kill a guy with full chain though, so that's a bonus. I climb higher up the mountain, hoping to scout out another tribute. I lean over the edge and I can just make out a person in the distance. Looks like I've found my location.

I am about to back away from the edge when I am hit from behind. What the? Luckily I didn't fall of the edge. I face my attacker. It's a girl and she has the same gear as me, except she has full iron armour. I can still take her though. I let her take the first move. I block it and side step around her. She keeps swinging her sword, I keep blocking. After about a minute, my strategy works and the girl is now closer to the cliff. I take out my sword. One hit is all it takes. She plummets off the cliff, and for the fifth time this Hunger Games, I am the cause of thunder.

I slowly scale down the mountain side and I eventually reach her loot. Some food, that iron armour, and... 3 DIAMONDS!!!!!!! I gotta go to spawn! Time to reunite with Betty.

Here it is. The diamond axe of doom. I'm got this game in the bag. Just one more person to kill and it'll be deathmatch. At that moment I hear the rumble of thunder as a message booms through the loudspeaker.

"The_Derpinator tried to swim in lava."

Wow. Is this guy serious? Oh well. At least I'm onto the deathmatch. I like these types of Hunger Game because there are only two people in the final battle. I try to wipe these thoughts from my mind and think strategy. This person is probably as geared up as me, so I should probably fight long range. I have about thirty arrows, which will do me nicely.

"The final Deathmatch has started."

A girl stands before me, with an arrow already aimed at me. She fires it and I jump out of the way at the last second. The girl immediately shoots another one, which again I dodge. I somehow manage to shoot an arrow back at her, but it hits her helmet, and it clatters to the ground.

I see her face for the first time. She is quite pretty. Her best feature being her bright pink hair... Snap out of it! You have a Hunger Games to win. I run forward with my sword and she does the same. The clash of metal on metal rings throughout the arena. The girl gets some good hits on me, and then she backs of. Why? I'm only on two hearts. She must be real low.

Wait, where did she go? I turn around I can't see her anywhere. I look up and see her on a tree, her bow aimed at my chest. I go to move, but I am too late. The arrow hits me and I am knocked to the ground. Half a heart. I try to get up, but the girl is already on top of me. She brings down the her sword and I am teleported back into the arena as a spectator. Fireworks rocket upwards.

I can't believe it. I, Bajancanadian, beaten at a Hunger Games. By a girl! I leave the lobby just after the final message is displayed.
