Iballisticsquid's POV

No... No. What did I just do?! I-I couldn't control myself. I'm always... different when I am Iballistichell, but this is extreme. The amulet. I need to put it back on. I reach into my pocket and clutch my fingers around the familiar gold chain and pull it out. I lift it over my head and what for the change to happen. I feel my body heating up... Then nothing. I look at my reflection in one of the windows. My eyes are still red. What? I-I'm not changing back. It couldn't be... Herobrine doing this? He must be. He's the only person I can think of.

I picture Herobrine's castle in my mind and close my eyes. When I open them, I look around and realise that my teleportation was successful, and I find myself outside the gates. The guard recognises me and immediately lets me in. After about ten minutes of walking I come across the door to the throne room. I take a deep breath in and twist the handle. Herobrine is sitting in his throne. I must admit, it does look quite impressive. It's obsidian carved into the shape of a seat, with the back made out of a redstone block.

"Back already?" He asks with a smirk.

"What did you do?!" I growl.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He replies.

"Why can't I change back?! W-Why did I hurt Deadlox and Sky?! Why can't I - Why can't I control myself?" My voice turns into a whisper as I say the last sentence.

"Oh Squid," He says while slowly shaking his head. "Don't you see? I'm not doing this. You are. You can't change back, because there's no one for you to change back into. There is no Iballisticsquid."

"No! No that's not true! You must've done something! Change me back!"

"I can't. There's no good left in you. Only the evil that I created. You're like me now."

"I will never be like you."

"You can't change the truth Squid."

No. This can't be happening. As much as I hate Sky, I wouldn't want to hurt him too badly. Wait... Did I k-kill him? And Deadlox... He was innocent.

"I know what you're thinking, and the answer is no, you didn't kill them. I'd know if you did." He says. I feel as if a huge weight has been lifted on my shoulders. But, I still have the problem of my kingdom, and my friends, what are they going to say? Should I even tell them?

"You keep forgetting I can read your thoughts." Herobrine sighs. "And no, you can't tell your friends. But you can still go back to your kingdom. You'll just have to hide your powers."

"Ok. But... You know what happens when I'm Iballistichell... I'm angry and rude and cruel. How can I hide that?"

"You'll have to find a way yourself; it's either that or you live here, but I doubt you want to do that." He says. I shake my head. That's the last thing I won't to do.

"Well then, off you go." He exclaims. I take one last look around the room and walk out the door.

Skydoesminecraft's POV

This is it. I'm about to get caught working for Herobrine, and I'm gonna get thrown in jail for life. Or worse. I try not to think about it.

"You look really pale Sky. Are you ok?" Asks Bodil.

"No I am not ok! I'm probably gonna get chucked in jail and lose my kingdom, all because my friends betrayed me." I almost growl the last few words.

"It's your own fault Sky." Says Deadlox. "You shouldn't have worked for him."

"I can't believe you! Out of all of the people I know, you should be the one that understands the most! You know what Herobrine is capable of. Besides, if I didn't work for him, he would've killed Bashur. And even when I did do what he wanted, he still tortured him. And I - I had to watch every second of it. I had to hear every scream. How would you like that Deadlox! How would you like that."

Before Deadlox has a chance to reply, the guards march through the door. Bodil slowly raises his hand and points to me. I realise that I only have two choices. I can let them take me, or I can fight. It's obvious which one I choose.

I hold out my hand and try to shoot the golden light, but it doesn't work. Neither does my second attempt. What? I look at my reflection in the glass. My eyes are hazel. The colour they were before I was turned into Skybrine.

"Wait! I'm not Skybrine anymore. I don't have my amulet on, but I can't use my powers. And my eyes... They're hazel." I say. For the first time today, Deadlox looks at me and says something unbelievable.

"Guards... let him go."
