Steve Wants my Friend Dead?

Stampylongnose's POV

I wake up to the sound of muffled shouting. Huh? Where am I? Last thing I remember I was in a the middle of a battle zone. Now I'm in a small room, the only furniture being a chair and a desk. It looks like an interrogation room. I look around and see that all the walls are white, except for one that is made of black tinted glass. I look through it and see Lee shouting at a man. I recognise him from somewhere... Wait is that Steve? What's going on? I peer through the glass again, and now Lee is out of his seat. He slams his fist on the table and stars shouting again. I try to hear what he is saying, but I only catch bits of his sentences.

"I won't... Squid and Sky... Never... Go to hell!" I back away from the glass. I've never seen Lee so angry before. My thoughts are interrupted by the door creaking open. Steve walks in looking a bit stern.

"Stampylongnose isn't it?" He asks.

"Yes." I reply. "Why am I here? What is this place?"

"You are in my headquarters, and you are here because I need to discuss something very important with you."

"And that is?"

"Skydoesminecraft and Iballisticsquid." What? Is this about Herobrine? Suddenly I remember what happened at the battle. Squid and Sky walking through the hole in the wall, and walking up to the castle entrance.

"They... They didn't kill Deadlox did they?"

"They may have. We haven't been able to get inside the castle yet."

"I still don't understand. Why does this involve me?"

"We have enough evidence to conclude that the pair are working for Herobrine, and that means that they need to be... Disposed of. We need you to kill them." I now know why Lee was angry. I'm not going to betray my best friend!

"I won't do it." I tell him stubbornly.

"I'm afraid you don't have much of a choice. You see, if you don't help us, we will assume you are helping Herobrine too, and you know what that means." He replies. And I do know what it means. My kingdom will be taken from me, and I'll be thrown in jail.

"You can't do this!"

"I can. And I've already done it to your friend Lee."

"No! You can't! He's not a criminal, he doesn't deserve this!"

"I think the opposite. Anyway, will you help me, or will you choose to lose everything?" He asks. I don't want to say yes, but I have to. I don't want the people in my kingdom to become homeless.

"Ok. I'll do it." I say. Steve sighs in relief.

"On one condition." I add.

"And that is?"

"Lee is released and is put in charge of my kingdom while I am gone." Steve considers this, and after about 30 seconds he has an answer.

"Ok. Now go back to your kingdom, collect any supplies you may need, and leave no later than tomorrow." He says. I am taken to the airship that is going to fly me back. I can't believe I agreed to this. Tomorrow I have to murder my best friend.
