'i cheated on you'

Cheryl's nausea lead her to the bathroom, she sobbed as she hurled the contents of her stomach into the toilet, she couldn't believe what she had done, she loved Toni, not Ezra.

Realising she was still naked she crawled back to Archie's room and redressed herself, act normal, she tidied her makeup up and headed back downstairs.

"good morning sleeping beauty" Toni giggled as she helped the girl down the last few steps. "Ezra told me you fell asleep"

"oh" she fumbled "yeah I was tired" she smiled weakly

"let's get you home" Toni smiled lifting the girl up effortlessly and heading for the red corvette parked on the driveway. When they arrived home all the red-headed girl wanted to do was to go to sleep and forget about this whole night. She changed in the bathroom so Toni wouldn't see her scratches before curling up in her girlfriends' arms and falling into a deep slumber.

are you not going to tell her Cheryl? How loyal of you. You cheated. Your a lying slut and you know it. She's never going to love you when she finds out.

She wakes up with a gasp, sitting up violently and holding her chest, her breathing is heavy and laboured. Toni immediately wakes up, she is used to Cheryl's nightmares and usually knows exactly how to calm her down, but not this time.

"you're ok baby" she says calmly stroking her hair and kissing her neck. Cheryl is frozen, she just sits and stares into the darkness. 

That's my future she thinks darkness. Nobody will love me when they find out what I did.

"i'm fine i'm fine, let's go back to sleep" Cheryl suggests, pulling herself into Toni's grasp "I love you" 

"i love you more"

The next morning Cheryl woke up with a massive sense of regret, she knew what she had done. Toni slept peacefully beside her, one arm lazily draped over her stomach and those gorgeous pink highlights brightened by the morning sun. Cheryl felt dirty like she needed to wash off her sins from the previous night, so with heavy limbs, she dragged herself to the bathroom and started to undress.

She hadn't realised the magnitude of the scratches that laid on her porcelain stomach, they were deep and stung as the water hit them, there were bruises up her thighs, black and yellow. i never get bruises when i sleep with Toni  she thought her mind again flooding with grief. The water was warm and somewhat refreshing to her, so much so that she kinda zoned out, finally escaping those horrific thoughts for just a minute as the water rushes down her back, drowning in her solemn. She doesn't even notice the silent entrance of her girlfriend as Toni slides into the shower beside her, scaring the life out of her and sending her into a panic as she tries to cover her injuries.

Toni wraps her arms around her girlfriend from the back and rests them on her stomach, kissing her shoulder, Cheryl winces at the tenderness of her bruising on her stomach. Toni immediately removes her hands and whispers over the splashing water.

"did i hurt you"

"no it's just" but before the redhead could come up with an excuse Toni had already turned her around and was faced with her injuries, she stared up at her girlfriend whose lip was starting to tremble.

"baby what happened" she cupped the side of her face as tears started to run down Cheryl's face, the serpent held the girl in her chest as she broke down.

"i'm sorry Toni"

"hey, what are you sorry for"

Cheryl couldn't do it, she couldn't tell her love that she had cheated on her with a guy she had known a whole 30 minutes, so, she just cried, hoping it would end, her scars would disappear and nobody would ever mention it again. 

Toni tried to examine the girl's wounds as she held Cheryl, trying to rack her brain for a cause of an injury of such magnitude, maybe it was the nightmare, no Cheryl never hurts herself in her dreams, did someone hurt her at the party, no she was with Ezra all night. what the fuck happened

Toni wrapped a large towel around the both of them, still holding te girl close to her as she led her to their bed

"sit here love"

Cheryl sat, the towel covering her cuts and bruises as her girlfriends kneeled in front of her.

"can i have a look" she asked gently lifting the towel

Cheryl nodded, figuring if anything Toni could help with the indeering pain before she left her. Toni had studied medicine when she was younger as she was appointed medic to the younger serpents and often had to patch up cuts and wounds, this gave her an insight of how to treat Cheryl's injuries.

Toni retrieved the first aid kit from the kitchen before examining and cleaning the wounds with an anti-bacterial which Cheryl winced at," i'm sorry" she kept repeating as she dabbed gently onto the cuts. She then applied steri-strips and plasters to keep the blood at bay. 

"all done" she smiled at the girl as Cheryl breathed a sigh of relief.

Toni packed the medical kit up and threw it in the corner, anticipating she may need it again, she slid next to the girl an pulled her into her side, which Cheryl molded into.

"what really happened Cheryl?, how did you get these"

"Toni" she stumbled on her words "i cheated on you"
