Ainsley

I wanted to stay out of the spotlight. I feel like I'm overshadowing the core of what we do both as a profession and a public couple. Though it may take a long time, I believed that this the only thing I could do in order to...

In order to...be with him forever.

Look, I love him. But there will be a time that I'll leave him or the other way around.

He stares into my eyes and holds my hand.

"Ainsley, you don't have to leave the company in order to do that. Even while you're here, you could discover more."

"No, I want to do it alone. I don't need to be associated with you. You're a high-profile guy, I'm not. Stop being so giddy about this whole thing."

"I'm not being giddy. I just want to do things on my own, without any association with you. I feel like everytime someone brings me up, they'll say the same thing. That I am your girlfriend."

He stared blankly at me.

"Then? Then what?"

"Then...I'll only be dubbed as your girlfriend. Not a journalist. Do you know how hard it is sporting a public profile because of this whole thing?"

I sighed.

"I just want to work hard and earn it myself, Anderson. I don't need connections or associations with you."
