Placing his hand on her shoulder, she paused and looked at him.

"Misaki..." he muttered.

"I can't help it Hein-kun," she finally confessed. "I can't stop thinking about you and m-my heart is beating fast when I am around you," she lifted up to sit on her knees as she looked at him. "My feelings to you haven't changed."

"Misaki-"

"I love you," she exclaimed. "I love you since high school. Even if I am married and gave birth to Hitoshi, I'm still in love with you."

She sniffed, tears appeared from her eyes. "I-I don't want to burden you," she continued. "But I felt so lonely whenever you left. I always thinking about you. I thought about you having a girlfriend. I even thought about you getting married and have children! T-that's upset me..."

His eyes softened at her shaking body.

"I-I divorced my ex after I found out he's cheating on me and we are having an argument then he left and died from encountered a villain-"

"Misaki."

"-I have been working on two jobs-"

"Misaki."

"-and I don't have enough money to-"

"Misaki!" He finally stopped her by placing both hands on her shoulders. She panted heavily, tears fell from the corner of her eyes and stared at him with love and sorrow.

He scooted her to him, wrapped his arms around her and rested his chin on her head.

"You are annoying," he muttered. "You know that?" She stiffened in his arms.

"But I never marry to anyone."

He gently rubbed his thumb on her shoulder. "Everytime I left on my mission, I also thinking about you," he could feel her looking at him. "I could never looked or wanted a beautiful women and I never wanted a perfect woman for me."

He looked down at her with gentle eyes.

"All I ever wanted is you," he said.

She widened her eyes before trembling again. "Y-you really mean it?" She whimpers.

He leaned down and whispers to her ear. "I love you."

She cried, feeling the weights lifting off of her and buried her face on his chest. Guilt is washing away from her as he muttered comforts words.

"I-I thought," she stuttered, pulled away from him. "W-why didn't you say anything?"

"I make a mistake," he replied. "Keeping you safe is the only option when I became an assassin but it wasn't easy."

"Idiot," she sobbed. "You're a big idiot."

"I know."

He wiped her tears and stood up to carried her bridal style. He easily turn off the tv and walked upstairs to the master bedroom.

Entering the room, he lay her on the bed and about to walk to the door when she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck and bring him along.

"Oof." He grunts when he lay on top of her. "Misaki-"

"Please stay?" She pleaded softly.

He sighed, climbed on the bed beside her and his arm around her loosely as she snuggling against him.

"Good night," she said to him.

"Good night Misaki."

He looked at the wall, patting her head as she slowly fell asleep with smile on her face.

Hein on the other hand, realized something.

'I wonder if the others knew about this,' he thought silently.
