Take place before Sports Festival with Takeshi and Shouto bonding time.
After Endeavour's divorce, Shouto gathered up his courage to talk to his mentor about visiting his mother.
Takeshi smile, patted his head.
"Who am I to stop you from visiting your mother?" He said gently. "I will hold off our training so you can spend time with her."
With those words, he's grateful and thanked him which the former assassin wave it off with his hand.
The next morning, his sister went to work and his brother is in university. They're unfortunately busy for the day and Takeshi offered him for a drive which he thanked him.
When they've arrived at the mental hospital, Shouto noticed his mentor wearing a black kimono with dark green kimono jacket and crest behind.
He noted that few people on his view are staring at him with awed and respect as they make the path for them which Takeshi nodded with gratitude.
Supposedly, Takeshi and some clan members are the civilians that works with regular jobs so people would feel comfortable.
Some are civilians, some are retired and Takeshi is one of the retired members.
He wanted to ask but Takeshi often looked sad and smiles at him.
Which make him uncomfortable.
For all he knew, his mentor is always happy and seeing him upset means that something happen in the past.
He keep silent making his mentor feel grateful to him, for not pushing him.
Asking the nurse from reception and finally reached to the room, he looked at his mentor who smiled and nodded.
Taking a deep breaths, he slowly opened up the door and saw his mother, staring at the window.
"Okaa-san..." he called quietly.
She lifted her head a bit, slowly turned her head around to see her son.
"Shouto...?" His heart clenched at the sound of her familiar voice. A voice that he longed to hear for years. "Is that you...?"
"Yes it's me," he confirmed, stepped inside and closed the door behind him.
As he took a steps toward her, she immediately wrapped her arms around him and found himself being hugged by her.
Her cold yet warm hug.
Her shoulders are shaking, showing that she's crying and he slowly hugged her back.
"Shouto... oh my baby boy..." she sobbed, hugging him tightly. "My son... I am so so sorry..."
She pulled back to cupped his cheek, the one with burn mark. "I did this to you," she whispers aloud. "I am so sorry Shouto. Will you ever forgive me?"
"I forgive you long ago mother," he said, leaned into her touch. "It's not your fault. It was him, he did this to you."
His mother tearily smile with the look of relieved and gesturing him to sit down with her.
They have been talking for long time and it was enough for them to rekindled their relationship. Their bond are slowly grow like they used to be.
When he talking about Midoriya Clan, his mentor and finally a divorce, she looked shocked but relieved.
He pulled out a paper and give it to her which she gladly take it then smiled at him.
When his visit is almost over, she said those words to him that he took it in his heart.
