Spiderman: Far From Home spoliers! Don't read if you haven't seen the movie yet!
You grinned at the man in front of you. He stood on top of the counter, beer in hand, toasting to us all. He turned to look at me, his eyes finding mine quickly.
"To (Y/N)! If she hadn't been such a great designer and seamstress I wouldn't have this costume to really complete the look. When Tony told her she wasn't fit to design the Iron Man suits along with any new clothes he might have needed he fired her, if I hadn't been there to help her get back on her feet she would be in some dump without all of us. To (Y/N)!"
"To (Y/N)!" They chimed in unison. You blushed, a tiny smile gracing your features. Quentin grinned before continuing, not that you were really paying attention to the rest.
"To Mysterio!"
"To Mysterio!"
"To Peter Parker!"
"To Peter Parker!" Everyone repeated. You took a sip of the alcohol, eyes still on Quentin. His lips formed more words, too quiet for you to pick up.
"Let's get to work!" He chuckled, stepping down onto a stool and then the floor. The drones around you started off toward the destination, keeping the crowd of people hidden on our way. You caught up to Quentin just before the group made it to the door.
"Quentin!" He turned, a lazy smile on his face.
"Hmm?"
"Thank you for doing this, I'm glad I could help you in the small little things I do," you mumbled, a light blush on your cheeks. He chuckled quietly.
"Speak up, love. I can't understand you," Quentin said as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders and gently squeezed your arm. "Why don't you try that again?" You nodded and took a deep breath.
"Umm t-thank you for doing all of this. I'm glad I can be of use even if it's something small like this." You tensed slightly as his hand came to rest on your neck. He stopped walking, a grin replacing the lazy smile he had.
"You're pretty great too. I wouldn't be able to pull this off without that costume you made me." He pressed a quick kiss to your forehead before pulling away and giving everyone instructions.
You grinned, running to make a few quick changes to the costume. Your heart raced, it was impossible to calm yourself after Quentin kissed you. It was a wonder no one knew about your quickly growing crush. Quentin really did know how to drive you crazy. From your work room you could hear his voice, he sounded annoyed. You crept into the room behind him.
"That projector is evidence, it'll tell people what we're doing and how we're doing it. I'm trying to fool 7 billion people and one of them happens to be Nick Fury, who is the most paranoid and most dangerous person on the planet. And if he catches on before I've killed him, then he will put a bullet in my head, and nobody wants a bullet in their head! Right?" You held your breath and drones targeted everyone in the room, one came to hover in front of you. You saw a green line lead to your forehead and shut your eyes tight. A quiet whimper escaped and Quentin turned around to face you. His hand landed your waist and he walked you back to where he had been standing before, this time with you. "Open your eyes, love," he whispered before turning back to the problem at hand. "William, can you look at me?" His voice was strong and forceful again. You tensed at the sound. Quentin's grip on your waist tightened and he pulled you closer. "Pull up EDITH."
"Hello Quentin."
"Yeah, hi honey. I need you to do something for me." You looked at him, the blush on your face growing. Imagine being called honey by him. That would be amazing. You saw his eyes flick to you briefly before he started searching for the lost projector.
