Rainbows and choices

I looked into Snow Star's eyes. Slowly I took off my mask. I saw tears appear in her eyes while her mouth formed a silent "What". The first voice that spoke was not hers. It was the voice of the yellow pony with the brown mane who was in the school of friendship. 'I know you. You are in the school of friendship. I've seen you there. How can you do this to Headmare Sparkle?' She cried. 'I don't care about Headmare Sparkle anymore. Who are you to say what I can and cannot do?' I said without any emotion. 'My name is Lovely Gold. As a student of the princess of friendship, I can tell you that it is not very friendly.' She said. 'I certainly follow the elements of harmony. Honesty: I honestly tell you that this place is the last thing you see before you die. Laughing: I can assure you that nothing is as funny as a few stupid failures who think they will end up alive here. At least funny for us. Loyalty: We are all loyal here to the Rainbow factory and to the pegasi. Kindness: We are so kind not to torture you completely before we kill you. The machine works reasonably fast. It is over in less than a minute. Generosity: We are so generous to work so hard to give Equestria beautiful rainbows. And finally Magic: Personally, I've always found rainbows magical. You see we work with the elements of harmony.' I said. 'That's not what I mean. You won't get away with this.' Lovely Gold shouted. 'We get away with it for at least 1000 years already.' I said. 'Don't think we're going to sit here and let yourself be killed by you, ... Whatever your name is.' Lovely Gold shouted. 'Her name is Black Blue.' Snow Star said from the crowd. She had finally found her voice. I knew that if I turned to her, I might not be able to control my emotions for long. I ignored her and focused on Lovely Gold. 'Do you really think that 1000 years of failures did not try to stop us? You don't win this.' I said with a smile.

'I trusted you!' Sounded a voice from the crowd. I looked around in surprise. Snow Star walked forward, dragging Lovely Gold, who was attached to her, with her. I never expected that there could be so much power behind Snow Stars words. 'You were my friend! I thought you cared about me!' She cried. Tears streamed down her cheeks and dripped to the floor. 'I DO CARE FOR YOU! I HAVE GIVEN YOU A GUST OF WIND TO DRIVE YOU THROUGH YOUR TEST! IT WAS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY  TO ENSURE THAT THEY DID NOT FIND OUT! I CARE FOR YOU! BUT NOW YOU DISAPPOINT ME!' I cried while using anger to displace my sorrow. 'You can't do this to me. I'm your friend. You would never do that. I know you.' Sobbed Snow Star. 'No, you THINK you know me.' I said. 'What happened to you?' She asked. 'I got to know the harsh reality.' I said emotionless. 'We are friends. Together we can achieve everything. Together we can get out of this. Black Blue, please.' Snow Star cried. 'It's everypony for himself here. I don't cooperate with worthless, horrible failures.' I screamed the last words. 'Think about who you are and who you were. And about which of the two you want to be. Do you want to take the life of a pegasus without good reason? Is that really what you want?' Snow Star asked. 'You can hardly call yourself a pegasus.' I said. 'You can't do this. You said it yourself. You care about me.' Snow Star cried. 'NO, I CARED FOR YOU. FROM NOW ON YOU ARE DEAD TO CLOUDSDALE. AND ARE YOU DEAD TO ME. AND WITHIN A FEW MOMENTS YOU ARE REALLY DEAD! JUST UNFORTUNATELY FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL CUTIE MARK! FOR THE REST NO LOSS! ' I shouted. The sooner I started, the better. I detached Snow Star from Lovely Gold and dragged her to the machine. She cried rivers of tears. I tried not to look at her and not listen to her.

Suddenly a loud alarm rang. 'Urgh, fire alarm. lock up the failures and go to the fireproof rooms. 'Rainbow Dash called. I didn't let myself say that twice. I dropped Snow Star on the floor and flew out of the room. As soon as all the ponies that worked in the Rainbow factory were outside, all doors were locked. If the fire reached the room, it would only be failures that died. In the fireproof rooms there was enough provision so that 20 ponies could live there for a month. They were also fire-resistant. Fortunately we didn't have to wait that long. After half an hour a message came that it had only been a small fire that had ended very quickly. Unfortunately, all machines had to be switched off in the event of a fire. The Pegasus Device needed a few hours to restart again. 'We'll start our example tomorrow afternoon. That thing will never started within working hours. Tie them together in groups of 5 and bring them to the cells. 'Rainbow Dash said irritably. I came back into the room as the last worker. In addition to Snow Star and Lovely Gold, I also had the green colt with the red mane who had become so angry about the dewinging, an orange filly with gray and yellow mane and a flash of lightning as a cutie mark, a light brown-orange filly with yellow and orange mane and a sun as a cutie mark and a light green colt that had mane in 2 different shades of green that also differed from its fur with a tree as a cutie mark. They were all scared and silent. Snow Star, Lovely Gold, the green pegasus with the green mane and the pony with the sun cutie mark were crying softly, while the other 2 were more shivering with fear. 'The cells are set to 5 so one of you will have to sleep on the floor.' I said cold. 'Are we not even getting an extra bed?' Asked the filly with the gray and yellow mane. 'What's your name?' I asked. 'Thunderstorm' answered the filly. 'Well, Thunderstorm, DO YOU REALLY THINK WE CARE ABOUT YOUR CONFORT?' I called. The Pony did not shrink or was not afraid. 'No, I know you don't care about our comfort.' She said emotionless. I didn't really know what she was trying to achieve now, but I didn't have to. We were there anyway. I opened the cell door and loosened the chains that tied them together before I locked them up and walked away again. This was not an escape for Snow Star. It was only a delay until tomorrow. I would have to do it tomorrow. I would kill her.
