Seven: Double Date

Riele's POV

At the beach yesterday things were tense between Jace and I. After we had our chat I went back to hang with the girls, it was a little uncomfortable being around Isabela because I felt like a bitch for sleeping with her boyfriend.

Not to mention I haven't seen Caleb in such a long time.

But anyways, every time I would look up Jace wohld be staring at me and then turn quickly away. It was weird as fuck.

I picked up my cell phone and pressed on Caleb's contact, calling him.

"Hey babygirl" He said.

"Caleb its been too long" I said to him.

"You're telling me! We haven't spoke in forever, what're you doing today?" He asked me.

"Actually I was calling you too see if you wanted to hang out" I said to him.

"Of course, I can pick you up in twenty minutes" He said.

"Okay I'll be ready by then" I said to him.

"Okay babygirl love you" He said.

Guilt hit my body like a brick wall thinking of how I betrayed him with Jace.

"I-I love you too" I said hanging up.

I closed my eyes and sighed.

I changed into skinny black jeans, one of Caleb's sweatshirts, and my white Air Force ones. I decided to leave my curly hair down and put some mascara and lip gloss on.

By the time I was done getting ready I got a text from Caleb saying he was here. I grabbed my purse and headed out the front door and into his car.

"Hey babe" I said to him.

"Hey baby" He said pecking my cheek. "So what do you want to do?" He asked me.

"How about the mall? You can help me pick out some new panties from Victoria Secret" I smirked.

"Shit, you don't have to tell me twice" He said placing his hand on my inner thigh and pulling out of my driveway.

Caleb and I walked into the mall and headed into Victoria Secret. I immediately walked over to the panty section and found some cute thongs.

"Baby how about this one?" I asked Caleb holding up a pink thong.

Before he could respond, another voice popped in.

"Oh that's so cute sis" I turned around and saw Isabela and Jace standing there. I swallowed and smiled.

"...Thanks" I said laughing and handing the panties to Caleb. "What're you guys doing here?" I asked locking eyes with Jace who quickly looked away from me.

"Jace took me to get my nails done and now we are heading to the food court" Isabela said, she arched an eyebrow and smiled, "You guys wanna join us? It could be like a double date" She said.

Jace's head snapped up and he shook his head, "Babe they are doing their own thing, let's just do ours" Jace said pulling on Isabela's arm.

Isabela swatted his hand away, "Don't be rude babe, I insist you guys join us" Isabela said.

"We would love too" I said grabbing Caleb's hand and putting a smile on my facade. Jace sent me a tiny glare but I ignored it.

"Okay then, let's go" Isabela said grabbing Jace  so arm and walking out of the store. I paid for my panties and Caleb wrapped his arm around my waist as we followed Isabela and Jace to the food court.
