Six: The Silent Treatment

Riele's POV

"Come on Rie get up" Cree said tapping my shoulder.

"I don't want too, I just want to stay in here forever" I said into the pillow.

Cree pulled me up by my hair and gave me a tiny glare, "What was that I couldn't hear you" She said

I got out of her grasp and pulled the covers over my head.

"Honestly Riele you cannot let Jace have this hold on you" Cree said.

I thew the covers off of me and looked at her, "Well I do because I may have just lost my best friend who I may have a crush on because I took your advice and told him that I had a sex dream about him and that I like him" I said to her.

"Riele I apologized so many times for what happened, this is literally one of the first times my advice did not work" She said to me.

"Well thanks for the Cree because Jace is probably not going to want anything to do with me!" I said getting out of bed and walking into the bathroom.

"What're you doing?" She asked me.

"You are right about one thing, I can't let Jace have this hold on me. So I am going to take a shower and then we are going out to the beach and have a girls day. Call Lizzy and Ella" I said to her before shutting the bathroom door.

I turned on the shower and stripped down into nothing. I got in the shower and let the water run over me.

Why do feelings fucking suck and why did I have to fall for my best friend?! I finished my shower and wrapped a towel around my body and hair.

I left the bathroom and I saw Cree on the phone texting Ella and Lizzy probably.

"Did you text them?" I asked her.

"Yes ma'am" She replied.

"Good, and I'm sorry for snapping at you Cree I was just really upset" I said to her.

"It's fine Rie, I probably would've acted the same way" Cree said.

I went into my closet and dried off and put on my bathing suit. I took my towel off my head and began to let it air dry.

I slipped on my yellow bikini and slid my flip flops on. I threw my hair into a bun on top of my head and left my closet.

"Do you want to borrow a bathing suit?" I asked her.

"Yeah I don't wanna call my mom to come pick me up and then bring me back over here" Cree said.

"Alright go into my closet" I said to her.

I got my phone to see if I had any texts from Jace. I frowned and sighed.

"He's ignoring me" I said to myself.

"Rie can I wear the white bikini?" Cree asked me.

"Yes of course" I said to her. Cree and I changed and walked downstairs. I grabbed a few snacks and drinks and placed them in my beach bag.

"You ready?" I asked her.

"Yep" She replied placing a stick of gum in her mouth. We walked outside and to my car, we got in the car and I started it up.

I checked my phone to see if Jace had texted me.

"Riele he has not texted you, he's an ass. Just don't focus on it" Cree said grabbing my phone out of my hand.

"You're right, I'm done" I said to her pulling out of the driveway.

Jace's POV

"Bela stop" I said to her as she kept taking Snapchat videos of me.
