I sigh and shut off my alarm. Another friendless day as a loser. Of course. I haven't been to my normal school in two months, and I don't plan on going back. I'm now doing a virtual program through another school, but my mom says I have to go to the classroom some days for the virtual schooling because I don't do my work at home.
Luckily, today wasn't one of those days, so I decided to pack my laptop and my other things in a backpack and go to the cafe. I zipped up the backpack and slung the strap over my shoulder.
My sister stopped me before I left. Well, Step sister. She crossed her arms "Where do you think you're going?" The blonde had asked me as I tried to move around her. "The Cafe." I replied, with an annoyed tone.
She sighed and relaxed her gaze. "Okay.... But you have to go to the school tomorrow. Anyway, I'll be heading out soon." She responded. "Hey, look at me Ouma. I may have lost faith in humanity, but I will Never lose faith in you." She spoke softly. I nodded.
"Thanks... Well, I'll be off now." I nodded, heading for the door. I sighed as I got out my phone, looking for directions to the cafe.
