Itachi's POV:
"Kurenai, the bath will over flow if you don't turn off the taps" I told her with a slight frown on my face waiting for her to do her job.
"Sorry, Crown Prince Itachi, it's just I have something important to inform you on" Kurenai said seriously to me. She looked over her shoulder to Ino. "Turn off the taps" she ordered her. Ino looked surprised but I could tell she didn't want to protest in front of me so she hurriedly went into the bathroom to do as she was told. Why is my maid making Sasuke's maid do her work? That angered me but I kept my face stoic. "This girl here, Crown Prince, stole your bracelet and broke it" Kurenai accused. Oh really now? Where did she get that idea from?
"But-" the girl started to say but I cut across her.
"Kurenai" I said silencing the girl. Kurenai stood tall looking confident at me. "You saw her steal it?" I asked her.
"Ino, did" Kurenai said just as Ino came out of the bathroom. I looked at her. Ino bowed lowly to me still blushing at the sight of me.
"Ino, explain" I demanded her.
"Am... the girl there came to me with the broken bracelet. I think she wanted me to help her hide it or something" Ino said pointing at the girl. I heard the girl gasp but I didn't turn to look at her. I stayed staring at Ino.
"Hn" was all I said. She was lying to me. I know she is. I remember that when I was training yesterday that I forgot to remove it and I hit it off something and broke it. I just took it off me this morning when I noticed the crack and left it on the tray.That bloody Sakura girl just came in and took my tray without even checking it.
"I-I didn't! I swear!" the girl shrieked as she struggled to get out of Kurenai's grasp. I turned to look at her properly now and saw my maid shake her hard to stop her from moving.
"Don't you dare lie to the Crown Prince!" Kurenai spat at the girl. The girl looked quite young, probably still only in her teens. She looks in or around the same age as my eighteen year old brother Sasuke. She is probably the same age as Ino I'm guessing. Kakashi seems to only higher young girls at the start so that they can work here longer. Kurenai is twenty two and of course my Father chose her to be my personal maid since she is close in age to me, since I am twenty three. My Father only chooses 'pretty' girls for us because he believes that we should always be surrounded by beautiful women since it's our privilege. But that doesn't matter to me. My Father doesn't understand that. He is very narrow minded much like a lot of people here. The girl's eyes brimmed with tears as she looked at me like I was going to kill her. I'm so used to seeing this look in people's eyes it is tiring.
Chika's POV:
"Ino, why are you still here?" Itachi asked her not taking his eyes off me. I felt nauseated with his stare. It was like he was thinking about a way to punish me for something I didn't even do. My knees felt as if they would give way but Kurenai's strong grip held me up. Ino looked embarrassed and quickly hurried over to the door.
"I am sorry Crown Prince Itachi. I shall leave at once. It was good to be of service" she said bowing as she left the room closing the door behind herself. I held my breath waiting for him to command Kurenai to do something to me now that Ino was gone. The suspense was absolutely killing me. He stayed silent as he stared at me with no emotion. My breathing became erratic and I could just feel the beads of sweat rolling down my face. What can I say? Who is he going to believe? Why would he believe me? Sure he doesn't even know me! I have no credibility here!
"Crown Prince Itachi... what would you like me to do with her?" Kurenai asked interrupting the silence. My eyes widened more as I looked up at her horrified.
