Chapter 5 - So... How's Everything?
Chika's POV:
What? What the hell is Sasuke saying? Is that true? He asked her to get me to do work for her? But why? Does he hate me?
"What?" Itachi spat at his little brother.
"I told you. You gave me crap about my maid so I sent her home! Chika was only taking over until then" Sasuke said annoyed. What? But that was a few days ago! Itachi glared very hard at his brother.
"Sasuke, I'm talking about now" he growled. Sasuke looked confused. I nervously looked at Ino to see her completely panicking. I actually felt sorry for her. She didn't know that Hachiro would do anything to me. But she was making me do petty stuff for her which always annoyed me. But seeing her so scared made my heart ache for her. She's going to get into so much trouble. I didn't mean for that to happen. I don't know how Itachi knew I was down there. But all I can say that I'm glad he did. He... saved me... I slowly looked at him as he glared at his younger brother. He didn't seem to be prosecuting me. He seems to be... standing up for me? Would a prince really do that for someone like me?
"What? Now? What are you talking about?" Sasuke asked confused. Itachi growled with impatience.
"A personal maid is meant to look after their Prince's clothes" Itachi explained. Sasuke looked back at the wide eyed Ino.
"Ino, what the hell have you been doing?" Sasuke asked her bitterly. She froze up at that and her eyes landed on me. I didn't know what to do but look back at her with worry.
"She... she asked if she could help out! I was only doing it because she had free time and I thought that I could get more work done for you" she lied. My eyes widened. Does she want me to get in trouble instead? How dare she? I would never do that to her! Itachi looked livid and he started to walk towards her.
"Are you lying to me again?" he hissed but Sasuke outstretched his hand to stop Itachi from touching her.
"Itachi! I will handle my maid. Ok?" Sasuke asked irritated. Itachi didn't make any other move to advance on Ino but kept his terrifying glare on her. "Ino, are you lying?" Sasuke asked her seriously. She looked so indecisive. She knew she would be in trouble whether she tells the truth or lies. Itachi knows.
"I... I..." Ino said looking around trying to figure out what she should say. I felt as if I should say something to protect her. I would hate if I was in that position. But she is screwed. I can only help her and lie by saying that I offered to help her but she already has done enough damage by making Tenten wash his clothes.
"Ino!" Sasuke said in a stern voice. She whimpered.
"I-I... I just wanted... I don't know!" Ino wailed and covered her face in her hands.
"Despicable" Itachi spat. Sasuke marched up to Ino making my heart race faster. What is he going to do?
"Ino, get out of my sight. If you can't be a trust worthy maid, you don't deserve to have the privilege of working for me" Sasuke said enraged with her.
Itachi's POV:
I would have been much harsher than my brother. He's weak. Ino started to cry pathetically.
"N-no! P-please! Please! I'll do anything!" she begged.
"LEAVE!" Sasuke shouted making both her and the girl Chika to jump. I nearly forgot about Chika since I was so focused on Ino. Ino wept as she slowly left the room. I turned to look at the girl and she stiffened at this. She still stayed against the wall like she was guilty or something, but she wasn't. Why is she so scared? Sasuke sighed irritated and ran his fingers through his hair. "How the hell did you know about this?" Sasuke growled at me making Chika look at him worriedly. I tore my gaze off her to see Sasuke looking down at the floor. He looked pissed. He just lost his personal maid. I understand that. He's lucky that I spotted how devious she was.
