Author's note; Listen to the music to give a more deep perspective on the character and who they are!
P.S - Both characters are not friends with the entire 'Losers Club' because, as an AU would go. There is no such thing in this one. Enjoy!!!~ 2:46 PM ~
Stan walked out of his last class a bit late, which was pottery class. Both a mixture of clay and metal, more of like sculpting. Due to talking to his teacher; Mrs. Peterson about his B- upon his project. Stan hates getting grades lower than an A- because of his parents' expectations. He sighed and stayed silent as he listened to Elephants & Little Girls by Loch Lomond. Walking out the teal doors and adjusted his backpack, looking at the ground as he did so. Getting into his father's car and driving home before therapy. "How was your day?" his father asked, noticing how silent the space was between the two towards their ride home. Stan turned down his music, "It was fine." he mumbled before his father asked an immediate question as soon as Stan's answer slipped out his mouth. "What did you get on your pottery project?" Mr. Uris asked sternly. Stan stayed silent for a split second, studying the platform where his feet rested, analyzing his clean shoes that he would never get dirty before his father asked again; "Stanley, you heard me." he stated. Stan lifted his head up towards the road, staring dead at it as he continued to listen to music and then replying; "B minus.." he mumbled underneath his breath, disappointed in himself as well. Mr. Uris sighed and then turned towards the road, the two taking in the silence before arriving home.
~2:55 PM ~
Stanley arrived home, sighing and setting most of his stuff ( besides his backpack ) upstairs towards his room quietly. And then heading back downstairs, saying 'bye' towards his father who was in the kitchen. Then walking out of the front door, he began to walk. The church was a two minute walk, it was down the street and towards the left. If he walked fast enough, he wouldn't have to bump into anybody that he knew. Or talk to anybody whatsoever.
~2:57 PM ~
Stanley walked into the church to notice some people getting situated for 3:00 PM, the boy rushed towards a seat in the fourth row, setting his backpack down. Studying the people who he, somewhat had in common with.
~ 3:00 PM ~
The session began, people began to seat in their own seats. Mumbling beginning to turn into whispering, and then to silence. He then heard the doors open, late. He didn't turn to see who it was, because he didn't need a new distraction. ( Hence, it was Mike Hanlon ) He stated at the woman who was rambling about her problems. He wasn't really paying attention, he was bored out of his mind anyways. The boy slipped out a tiny yawn. And then waited the class out until snack.~ 3:15 PM ~
It was the time of the session where everybody ate snack or whatever did what they had to do before they returned back to their session. Stan took out his phone, scanning text messages from his friend Richie and Eddie. The three had a groupchat together, scanning their texts. They were fighting, (obviously playfully ) over text. Stan rolled his eyes while smiling, texting them back as quickly as possible;[ This meeting is shitty as fuck, S.O.S ]
Stan sent before pocketing his phone and seeing somebody sit next to him, he scanned the person who randomly decided to sit down. It was the same boy he saw in the hallways at school, same Tupac t-shirt and everything. Stanley felt his cheeks slightly heat up due to studying him for longer than expected, he heard a tiny 'Hello' slip out of the other one's mouth. He turned, stared and then turned back again. Facing the front, crossing one leg over the other and eventually;
The meeting resumed.~ 4:00 PM ~
Stan walked out of the church and was about to walk back home, sighing to himself gently. He had so much homework to do, he was looking around and noticed a mall across from the park just down the street. Neglecting it. And then heard the boy he noticed earlier talk; "Do you mind me asking, your name?" the taller boy said calmly. "Stan." Stan said just as calm, noticing Mike took out his hand for a shake, and he shook it. "Mike." the other one said in return. Mike began to speak again; "So, Stan.""You wanna have a little competition?"
