We got into the cars and we drove off

'Never realised how beautiful North Carolina was' i said as we drove

'We live in Alexandria hills. It's like a valley but it's also a city. You get what I mean. There's also a massive mall like 10 minutes away I'll take you there tomorrow.' She said and i laughed

'Auntie' i asked

'Yes honey?'

'What about their bodies' i asked and she sighed

'They're going to get buried sometime next week after the officers have them scanned'

'Okay' i said tears again welling in my eyes

I want to stop crying

I just can't

It all happened to quick

It's just so unreal

I honestly don't know how to feel

I gazed out of the window, astonished by the beauty of North Carolina

We went through mountains and i saw a massive river running through it

We then got back onto the main road and i saw many kids running around on bikes

The mountains were soon far away but still you could see them in the distance

We went past the mall my aunt was talking about and we pulled up to a big house

Wow

I got out of the car and immediately the people who lives around us started staring

'Ahh Devyn darling your back' a woman next door said and my aunt started talking to her but I grabbed my suitecase and headed on inside

'Your rooms upstairs, 3rd door on the left' my uncle said and i nodded and headed on up finally getting my suitecase up the stairs

I opened the door to reveal cream coloured room with grey sheets and lamps on either side of the bed with tables

The room had a grey rug in the floor and candles on the dressing area with a connecting bathroom

On the other wall was written my name in fancy good lettering and i smiled

I opened my wardrobe and opened up my suitecase and started hanging up the few clothes aunt Devyn had bought me

I picked up some shorts aunt Devyn got me from forever 21 and went to shower

I got some towels from under the sink but there was no shampoo

I guess I'll wash my hair tomorrow morning

I washed my body and swapped into some different clothes and dried off then headed outside and i saw aunt Devyn

'Auntie. Anything you need' i asked and she sat on my bed

'Your car's coming actually tonight. I was wondering how you're settling are you hungry' she asked

'Yeah im settling good. And no I'm not hungry.' I asked

'Well tomorrow i have a day off from work so I'll take you shopping and get you some new clothes because baby that wardrobe looks depressed' she said laughing and i smiled

'Do you wanna go anywhere now.' She asked

'I might just head out for a walk or a jog, clear my mind' i said

'There's a park down the street. Just go down this street and take your first right' she sad and i slipped on my trianers

'You already have my number so call me for anything and I mean if anything is wrong. Anyone even dares to look at you in the wrong way I'll chop their ass into a kebab' she said and i laughed

I slipped on my trianers and put my phone in my pocket and headed out

At least I'm not trapped inside with my stupid thoughts

I'd go crazy

I walked towards the park with my headphones and i sat on the swings lightly moving
