Bad decisions

I turned around to see a little girl

'I lost my bubby' she said biting her finger and hugged me

'Do you know where about you lost him' i said and she nodded and pointed over to a deserted corner

Well that's no use

Who just leaves a 4 year old girl in a park half way through the day

Someone irresponsible I'll tell you that

She held my finger and started walking around

'BUBBY BUBBY' she yelled and a bottle my age ran up to us and grabbed her hugging me

'Holy shit i can't believe I left you' he said

'How did you lose a kid' i said

'She walked off. One second i turned around and she's gone. She was throwing around my bottle eveywhere.  It's metal so if that hit somebody I'm not paying your hospital bill' he yelled out panting and i laughed

'But thanks i dont know what I would have done if something happened ' he said and we started walking up the street

'So what's your name' he asked

'Kira. What about you'

'Liam.' He said

'Wait i know you. You were with aunt Devyn' he said

'You call her aunt' i questioned and he laughed

'Everyone does in our neighbourhood.  I thought she didn't have any kids' he said

'She's also my aunt. My dad's sister'

'You here to visit' he asked

'Um no. I'm here to stay.' I said and he nodded not further questioning it

Thank fuck for that

'Most of the people that go to my school live on this block. What school do you go to'

'I actually have no clue i literally got here about 2 hours ago' i said

'Right right sorry' he said

He seemed nice

'My mate Aaron lives on the other street and Asher. He lives up that street' he said

'You all live so close by. It's crazy' i said and a big truck drove past us and pulled up at my house

'Uh wait a second' i said and running to the driver as he got out and knocked on my door and i came up behind him

'Delivery for Aiden Cazadora' he said and my uncle opened the door and signed the documents and he rolled out my car leaving it in the street

'I'll put it in the garage in a bit' i said and liam was standing outside the gate

'Hey liam' my uncle said smiling and giving him a handshake

'Already making friends i see.' He said looking at me

'Well he did lose his sister at a park' i said and he gasped and liam scratched his head

'How could you. She's so tiny' my uncle said pinching her cheeks lightly

'She ran away okay' he said and we all laughed and soon liam left to his house and I grabbed the keys off my desk upstairs and headed on outside

I felt someone staring at me and i turned around to see liam staring at me by his door

He realised that I saw and he gave me a quick wave before sitting down on his patio and gave me a weird look

A look of confusion

A look of anger

I couldn't quite make it out

I parked the car into the garage and i heard a phone go off

It wasn't mine

It wasn't my aunt or uncles

'Hello' someone answered

Liam?

But he was so far away

Nearly 3 houses down

'I think i found someone. Someone like us' he said and shot me a look before walking away
