The Trip

Franny's POV 

*3 months later. Sorry I skipped because I didn't want to drag on the story* only 3 more chapters left after this one!!

Today was finally the day we were leaving for Greece. At first it was going to be just a family vacation with Kian, Gavin, and I but then I thought it would be fun if we invited all our friends if they were free to go. Kian agreed and said we could be our babysitter for Gavin. I laughed at the fact because I would be scared to leave Gavin with someone I didn't trust completely. 

I had to pack mine and Gavin's things and then look over Kian's thing to make sure he wasn't forgetting anything which was a bit stressful because I was essentially packing for all three of us but sometimes you just have to do what you gotta do. I also underestimated how much flying a 14 hour flight with a toddler would suck. 

He was pretty relaxed for the first couple of hours but then he got bored and antsy so he did everything he could in his power until I caved and just gave him my phone so he could watch YouTube. I typically don't let him use my phone because I don't want him to be dependent on it but this is what led up to me giving it to him. 

"Ow, Gavin let go of my hair" I said prying my hand out of his little fingers. As soon as I got him to let it go he grabbed a fistful if my hair with his other hand. I groaned in frustration before giving him his favorite toy as a distraction which worked for about a total of 15 minutes before he started pulling my necklace and trying to put my fingers in his mouth due to fascination of my acrylics. "Gavin, please stop. No!" I said sternly as he tried to put my ring in his mouth. His lip puffed and he let out a cry reaching for Kian. "Fine go with your father" I said in annoyance handing him to kian. 

"Aww, what is mommy doing to my little baby" he said cooing at Gavin tickling him. He gave Gavin kisses and praise until he stopped crying and started playing with Kian. He stayed with Kian content for about a good half hour until he got bored again and started to play with Kian's earring. "Stop Gavin" he said while removing the baby hands from his ear so he could take off his earring. Gavin has no option but to find something else to mess so he went for Kian's glasses. He held one of the ends for a second before Kian quickly reacted and pushed his hands away. "I don't think so buddy, those were really freaking expensive. Time to go hangout with your mom because you're not letting me get my work done" he said to Gavin as if he could understand. 

I scoffed and chuckled, "he's not so innocent now huh?" "Just take him please. I need to finish this so I can spend the rest of the vacation without worrying about work" Kian said in an asking tone. "Fine" I said before taking him off of Kian. I set him down while I cleaned his stuff and he ran down the aisle. I was so embarrassed but luckily he ran to where Veronica and Colby were sitting. He loved Colby, he was like a second dad to him and he also loved Veronica because she was such a sweet person, can't blame him. He was also so fascinated by her belly. She started laughing once she noticed him and gave me an 'I got you' look. 

I kept and eye on him every so often but he patiently sat on Colby's lap while talking and playing with the both of them in his baby language. He was able to feel the baby kick and he found it to be the funniest thing ever. After about 30 minutes she walked him back to me. "I think he wants a sibling" she said with a wide smile. I laughed and subtly looked at Kian who just blushed. "The factory has been closed for a minute but I'll talk to the CEO's, maybe we can work something out for him" I said laughing. Veronica laughed as she walked back to her seat. 

"Mama, mama" Gavin said repeatedly making grabby hands signaling he wanted to sit on my lap. I picked him up as I kept him occupied until I felt tugging at my hair and jewelry. "We are not going through this again" I said to myself as I handed him my phone with some little kids show playing. I fell asleep while he was watching it and by the time I woke up he was sleeping with his head on my chest and the phone tightly secured in his hand. The life of parenthood, am I right?

The first day we landed we all got settled on our rooms and we were all jet lagged. I was the first one awake so I went out to the balcony and took in our view. After a couple minutes I felt arms rap around me from behind. "What are you thinking beautiful?" Kian asked. "Just about how I feel like Lena from 'The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants" I said. Kian laughed, "is that a good thing?" I nodded shocked, "you've never seen the movie? Lena goes to Greece and finds the love of her life and I'm lucky enough to be here with mine" I said brushing my lips against his. We pulled apart as we heard a piercing cry. "I got it, you just relax" Kian reassured me. 

We all ate breakfast together since it was provided with the rooms and then took a quick visit to our private beach. After about an hour or two all the girls came in one room to get ready together as the boys did their thing. Once we were all ready then we went to go be tourists for the day and eat out and see Juliet's balcony from Romeo and Juliet. Everyone ended up going home early but Kian begged me to go get gelato with him so Nezza offered to watch Gavin while we went to go get Kian's snack. 

"Look Fran! Flowers!" He said excitedly. He didn't even let me react before he was handing me a bouquet and paying the man at the stand. "Beautiful flowers for a beautiful girl" he said pushing my hair behind my ear. I blushed and laugh, "can we get any more cheesier?" Kian laughed with me, "I don't think so, otherwise we'd literally turn into milk." I laughed even harder, "I don't even know how that makes sense but I'm not going to question it" I said. We walked home as the sun set and by the time we got back to our villa it was illuminated in the night by lights and lanterns. 

I was awestruck at the nicely set tables and lights on the villa. It looked absolutely gorgeous. "What's all this for Kian" I asked confused yet amazed. "It's all for you Fran" he said staring at me with an intense gaze. I was now even more confused, "what do you mean?" I said turning to him. 

This whole trip was planned for you Fran. The whole reason I wanted your friends and family to come but I didn't want to make it obviously so you're mom and dad got on a later flight. I love you Franny and I want you, me, and Gavin to be a family, officially. I can't imagine my life without you and I know I would forever be missing the better half of me without you, because you truly brought out the best version of me out. I want you to be my past, present, and future.  Franny Arrieta, will you marry me?" He was now on one knee with a shining ring in a small velvet box. Tears were already streaming down my face. "Yes" "yes, of course!" I said excitedly. I pulled him into a bone crushing hug and an equally as passionate kiss. My hand was shaking as he put the ring on my hand which we both laughed at. He hugged me tightly once more before everyone came running out. "Congratulations!" They all cheered. Tears came out once again as Gavin ran towards me, "mama! Daddy!" He said excited. I kissed his cheek as I picked him up. "Let's celebrate everyone!!" I cheered. 

The champagne and wine was popped and everyone was having a great time. I was truly blessed to be in such a beautiful place with all of my closest friends and family on a trip we will never forget.
