EXT. - ZARAGOZA, PROVINCE OF ARAGON, KINGDOM OF SPAIN - EARLY MORNING - 1493

The animated scene FADES IN with the view of the sun rising above the mountains. To the right, we see a large cathedral and in the middle, the edge of a mountain cliff. And below in the valley is the medieval city of Zaragoza. Three large towers stick out from atop of the cathedral. One of the towers, the largest, bares the symbol of a cross. Rays of light illuminates the cross, as the sun rises higher and higher into the heavens. This place is known as La Seo de Zaragoza or the Cathedral of the Savior of Zaragoza. It is the headquarters of the religious organization known as the Spanish Inquisition. Moments later, as we continue to gaze at the sunrise...two men on horseback enter our view. These men bare a symbol on their cloaks and on their horses's armor. It is a symbol of a sun encased in an iron cage. This is the symbol of the Ordre del Sol de Ferro, Catalan for the Order of the Iron Sun. The men stop at the edge of the cliff and stare into the distance. They both wear dark hoods, concealing their faces and shrouding themselves in a cloak of mystery. They both carry a Tizona sword by their side. The men continue to gaze further into the distance for a while longer...until they turn to look at each other and nod their head. Yet, we still do not see their faces. Right after, they turn their horses around and face towards the opposite direction and head downward and exit out view. Yet still, we do not see their faces...

After Torquemada mysteriously fell ill, his successor and assistant, Master Inquisitor Faltpresto Vulgrima, a renowned "heretic hunter" , is given full authority by the King and Queen of Spain to aid the Inquisition in purging and purifying the North of those whom they deem to be blasphemous against the Inquisition...
