There was this boy. Who was so kind. Even if you forgot his face you would still remember him. He was the one who's lips would tugged into a small smile as he took the steps into an orphanage. He would go into any orphanages around the area. What purpose does he have there? Well, to play with the children there. Only if he was allowed, of course.
He loves children. He'd play games with them and eat with them. The games he played consist of ashes, hide and seek, tag, house, and many more. You name it and he'll be able to give you a memory with the children playing that game.
His favorite memory is when the children would all scream and cheer while running in circles around the male. And, simply, just that made him feel at home. Like he has found a place where he belongs.
One day, a little girl came up to him with a flower crown. The flowers were fake but it still looked realistic. For a little girl, it was beautifully made. The crown was made out of plastic chrysanthemums that stood proudly around the edges. A strip of gold was used as the band which brought out the color of the chrysanthemums. The little girl gave the crown to the male and said, "I want to give you this because you are my King. When I grow up I want to be your Queen."
He thanked the little girl and playfully said they would get married when shes older. He thought she was only joking. She was a little girl after all. He ruffled her hair and only smiled. The little girl was confuse. Her lower lip jutted out to form a small pout. Her actions causing him to chuckle but, it made him understand how serious she was. He squatted down to her height and looked her into her eyes. "I'm sorry. I won't be able to come back to the orphanage for the next couple of months. But, I promise you that we will get married, okay?" The little girl nodded her head enthusiastically and hopped away.
Many years has past and the little girl still waited for him to come. He never came. But, she trusts him. She believed that he will come back for her and they would get married.
The day where she got adopted came. She was almost 18. But, she wasn't legal to go off on her own. Although she was happy to be adopted, she was also scared. Scared that he would not be able to find her.
She discovered a website called, Youtube. She wasn't really fond of social media, but her new family suggest her to use it. They would see her stare out the window for hours. Her eyes slowly losing it's color. Which is why they suggested her to watch videos online. They were shocked the hear that she didn't even know what youtube was.
She came across a dancing video. In this video, there was a man dancing. His body flowing with the beat. Sensational. His movement smooth and almost gliding. It was almost as if he could fly. She found herself enjoying this type of music. And soon she was hooked and couldn't pull herself out.
As she watched the dancer she began noticing more of his features. And it was starting to become familiar in a way. Was it him? While the male was dancing his hat fell and revealed the same man that once visit her at the orphanage.
Then everything made sense. The reason he never came back was because he was pursing his dreams. He wanted to be a dancer and be known to the world. She stared at the video and her vision was starting to blur.
One tear.
Two tears.
Four tears.
She was so happy. Happy for him.
But, she was also sad. Sad that she probably won't ever become his. Sad that he might have forgotten her. Sad because she may never see him again.
One day, she held a ticket tightly in her hand. She glupped, "Does he remember me?" Her hands almost trembling. Calm down.
The male, on the other hand, felt sorry for leaving for so long. But in those years, he never forgot about her. Even though he became a star he told himself that he would keep that promise. He would make her, no, their dream come true.
Today was his fan meet. Cheers roam the entire room. Screeching names of his and his group members into the air. As he sat in his chair, wearing the same flower crown the little girl gave him, he spotted the now grown little girl in the crowd.
Out of all people, his eyes set on her. His chin rested on his palm and his head tilted off to the side. His eyes meeting her own and then he knew. She knew. And so, they smiled.
