Dreams POV-
Recently blue has been acting...out of the usual. It's just not like him to act like this. Tired, lazy, it's just so strange. I'm worried about him, which is why me and ink have decided to have a meeting with blue to discuss what's wrong. "Blue, recently you've not been acting yourself...is everything alright?" I asked. "I'm fine, really!" Blue consulted. I looked at ink. He didn't seem so sure of blue's answer. "Blue, please don't lie, it's not like you to act like this." Ink begged. Blue sighed. "Look, I can't tell you yet, it's meant to be a surprise! On the subject of the surprise, have this!" Blue exclaimed tiredly as he handed us some invites. It wrote about having a party to celebrate something, though it doesn't specify what. "Oh! Oh! Oh! Is it a one year anniversary?" Ink asked excitedly. "We haven't been married for that long ink, nice try!" Blue answered. While ink guessed, I felt an outburst of negativity in an AU. "Ink, I think my brother and his group are attacking and AU!" I shouted. Ink quickly teleported to the doodle sphere to check on the AUs. Me and blue waited silently. "Sooo...how have you been Blue?" I asked, breaking the silence. "Hm? Oh, I've been good thanks for asking! How about you?" He replied. "I've also been good." I answered. Ink then came back. "We need to head out, nightmare and his gang are attacking echotale." Ink reported. "NOT MY PRECIOUS GRASS!!!" Blue exclaimed, jumping up from his seat. "Well if you wanna save your grass, we've gotta get moving fast." Ink said, opening a portal for us. The three of us then ran in and met our attackers
Inks POV-
We entered echotale and got in our fighting stances. "Nightmare! This needs to stop! Go and be a good brother to Dream and let him help you!" I shouted. "Eh, how about no, now attack them idiots." Nightmare ordered. Dust turned his head rapidly at nightmare's words. Anger and worry appeared on his face. He immediately teleported over to blue, clung onto him, hissed at us, and teleported away. We all stopped and looked at each other confused. I was first to speak. "What was that for...?" "I don't know, maybe dust's on his man period." Killer shrugged. "Dust doesn't have man periods, but we all know who does." Horror answered slyly. We all glanced at nightmare. "Why are you looking at me like that you idiots?" He growled. A sudden out burst overcame me. "NIGHTMARE'S ON HIS MAN PERIOD!" I screamed. I instantly clasped my hands over my mouth. All of nightmare's gang cackled. "Oh....no...." Dream stuttered. "You better run while you're still living, cause this'll be all of your last seconds." He raged, shooting his tentacles at us. We all scattered in different directions, except for dust and blue- wait, where's blue? I ignored it for now and ran towards Dream. "This would be a good time to leave dream." I whispered whilst opening a portal back to the base. Dream nodded and jumped in. I followed after him and sighed as I arrived back at HQ. "Oh blue! When did you get here?" I heard Dream ask. I spun around to the two talking. "Oh...when dust forced me back here." Blue answered tiredly. "Why did he forced you back here?" I asked, joking the conversation. "Because if the surprise." He answered. This must be some surprise. "Anywaaaay, I'm gonna make something to eat, you want some tacos?" I asked. Blue shook his head. "No thanks, although I would like some spaghetti." Blue said, hugging below his ribs in a protective manor. Now I'm sure that whatever this surprise is, it's affecting him way too much. I'm not even sure he's mentally ok. "BLUE WHAT THE FUDGE IT UP WITH YOU!?! YOU LOVE TACOS AND NOW YOU DONT!?! TELL UUUSSSSSSS!!!" I yelled. "How come I can never keep secrets from you guys?" Blue asked. "Cause I can squeeze the information out of everyone and everything." I replied proudly. "Well of you really wanna know, I will....NOT tell you! You must wait until the party next week!" Blue said cheekily. I sighed. This is gonna be a long week.
