change?

It's been a few days and Julie finally got out of the hospital. We were on our way back to the hotel when we got a phone call to come down to the police station. Julie looked at me and Becky squeezed my leg

"I'm not getting out of this one am I?" Jukie asked quietly

"I'm afraid not" I muttered "but I am still here for you and I'm not going anywhere sissy poo"

"I know but what if I get jail time?" Julie asked

"Then you serve it and get it over with" becky said out of no where

Julie and I both looked at her and I slowly shook my head

"As though that is true...not helping" I said trying to hold back my face expressions because I knew it wasn't going to be a good one

I heard her sigh as we pulled into the police station.

"J if you get jail time I'll be here every day to visit until you get out. I'll make sure you got phone time so you can call every day. Also if you by some chance get jail time hopefully it sticks in your head to not drink and get in a damn vehicle"

She rolled her eyes, we got out and I looked over at Becky "are you coming in baby???"

She shook her head and looked straight ahead "no"

My girl was pissed. I sighed and walked in with Julie next to me. She stopped just before the doors and I grabbed her hand

"Sissy poo we will get through this, I'm here supporting you every way" I said pulling her into a hug

J took a deep breath in and slowly let it out. We walked in and she checked in. We both sat down when an officer came out

"Julie Calloway?" He asked looking at my sister

She nodded and we stood up.

"I'm sorry but I'm only taking Miss Calloway back with me"

"Shes my sister and I would like for her to come back with me" julie said

"I'm sorry but I cant" said the officer

I grabbed my sisters hands then looked at the officer "she coming back out?"

"Yes she will be coming back out it should only take maybe 20 minutes at the least"

"Ok I will see you soon alright but don't agree to anything without a lawyer present understand??" I asked

She nodded and then headed back. I walked out and got into the vehicle

"Did she get arrested?" Becky asked still not looking at me

"No she just had to go back and talk" I said

It was quiet for a moment

"Will you please look at me??" I asked

"I'm sorry I'm just really upset right now so just give me some time ok??" She asked

I nodded and kissed her on the cheek "I love you and I'm sorry if I upset you."

She didn't say anything which made my anxiety go high so I got out before I could say anything that I would regret. I walked back into the station and waited for Julie. She came out about a half hour later.

"So?" I asked

"I'm getting my license taken away for 90 days and a dwi"

"But you werent driving" I said confused

"But I was going to" julie pointed out with a sigh

"True" I muttered "you free to go??"

She looked at the officer who nodded. We went out to the vehicle where Becky was still sitting and got in.

"Done?" She asked

We nodded and we headed back to the hotel. We got out of the vehicle and headed in where we got stopped by Roman.

"Candy you got a moment??" He asked looking between all of us

I nodded

"I miss you Can. I miss hanging out with you and seeing you. I love you Candy Elizabeth, I know you are with Becky but please Candy at least be around me. I need you in my life" roman said grabbing my hand

I was kind of in shock that he chose now to be opened about it all and didn't know how to respond but Becky answered for me by walking away. I sighed.

"Roman I love you but as a friend I am with Becky and I love her" I said removing my hand from his

"I know you love her but you can love two people at a time I have witnessed this through the years and I know you have feelings for me. We have a history Can and you need to admit that to yourself"

"Roman yes we have a history and as I said before I love you but only as a friend" I said slowly shaking my head and walking away

I ran away from him and went and caught up with Becky.

"Beck please what is wrong??" I asked "you have been acting different most of the day"

"Nothing is wrong at least at first it wasn't anything that would have been a issue but Can I just don't know..."

I felt my legs start shaking and I knew it was at that moment as my heart sank that something was going to change...that my world was going to change.
