a/n: Quick and small mention of Soora's past trauma, just a little resume of what actually happened. I won't dwell on it much longer, it's been taking up a lot of the story already, and we're in a new phase!

Shin Soo-Ra rubbed her hands together with a mischievous look as she ran to the living room where his sister and her boyfriend were. She threw herself between the two, making them move away, and opened a wide smile for both of them.
"Yoongi is coming to dinner with us again!" he announced making Hoseok raise an eyebrow.
"Ok? You had already told us that."
"He treated me badly in the chat, can you hit him for me when he comes?" She asked forcing a aegyo pout.
"What did he do this time?" Her sister asked with an annoyed roll of her eyes.
"He said that he is not a coward like Hobi and that he will fight back if I hit him." She re-counted with her arms crossed and a forced cute lisp.
"WHAT DID HE SAY?" Hobi shouted, making the two sisters jump in place in fright.
"So... are you going to hit him?" Soora asked with a roguish smile.
"You bet your marbles I will!" Hoseok asserted exaggeratedly, slamming his right fist into the palm of the left hand while pursing his lips, baring teeth.
He was playing Soora's game because that was something they had developed with Yoongi, a type of banter that always left Soora laughing hysterically, and whatever had her smiling was good enough for a repeat.
"Yay!" Soora celebrated, jumping off the couch and doing a little excited dance.
"Why are you so happy about it?" Chae asked blinking her eyes.
"Because this is fun! Tonight is going to be an amazing night." She assured with a hum.
"Aish, you are terrible." The younger sister scolded, crossing her arms, but she was also loving the new and playful Soora.
Gradually Soora was showing sides of herself that Chaeyun hadn't seen for a long time. Since the day Soora had disappeared, Chae had really thought that her sister would not recover from her trauma and that things would only get worse. Yet the exact opposite had happened.
"Are you really going to hit Yoongi?" Chae asked as soon as the two were alone again, after seeing Soora dance and sing her path back to her office.
"As much as I want to? No." He replied with an antagonistic tranquility to the fury he had shown seconds before.
"Then why did you say you were going?" The girl asked confused. It wasn't enough that her sister had acted strangely, now even the boy she liked was acting strangely.
"Because it's good to see Soora like this." He told and Chae smiled, looking where her sister had gone, as if she could still see her.
"Yeah, she looks like someone else." She commented in a thoughtful and happy tone.
"No. She looks like herself, she's just feeling good to show her true self more." He said and Chae agreed.
Close to dinner time the two went to the kitchen to prepare food and just before finishing the bell rang. Soora came running from her office and opened the door excitedly, smiling broadly at Yoongi.
"What did take you so long?" She questioned with half-closed eyes, forcing an angry frown.
"Forgive me, there was a lot of traffic between my house and yours." He mocked and Soora punched his arm. Yoongi rubbed the spot she hit and hissed at her.
"What did I tell you earlier?" He asked rhetorically.
Soora widened her eyes and looked around, looking for Hobi, but he was still busy in the kitchen, so she did the only thing left to do and ran.
Soora entered her room quickly and pushed the door in an attempt to close it, but Yoongi was faster and put his foot between the door and the frame, preventing it from closing. With a little strength on both sides, the two struggled to see who would give in first and let go of the door.
"They look like two kids." Hobi rolled his eyes, laughing as he heard Soora squealing and laughing.
"Tell me about it. Dinner is ready, children!" Seokjin shouted from the kitchen.
He had been helping with the cooking. Dinner dates with Yoongi also meant that sometimes Seokjin and Jisoo would join too. Other times Ashley and Namjoon would come, and one of the few times it was the 101 boys.
Soora was still not prepared to invite the other neighbors, but they didn't mind much, they were happy to just interact with Soora through chat, as they have been doing for weeks now.
Elisa was always travelling, so it was harder for her to show up at dinner dates, but she still had a promise to keep joining sooner or later.
For Jin, Hobi and Chae, this progress was incredible, but they feared that it was just a phase or a camouflage by the young woman to hide what she was really feeling. Jin continued to treat Soora, and now she was more open-minded than she had been in the past. She even told him in details what happened, while Hoseok and Chaeyun were present.
To the relief of the psychology student, nothing serious happened to little Soora. The beggar just kept her captive and treated her as if she were his daughter, but never made weird advances or assaulted her. Still it had been traumatic and scary because at times the man would tell Soora that they would soon meet his little angel.
Yoongi finally stopped tickling Soora and jumped up, holding out his hand to the girl. She was still recovering from her laughter, refusing his hand with a light slap and standing up.
"I told you you'd pay." He murmured, and she just threw her tongue out at him and laughed again.
They started bickering once more and everything fell into place. One more step closer to overcoming her traumas and fears, while she bonded and fortified her social skills, that seemed to be flourishing slowly.
