APT 302

The sound of the front door opening and closing sounded in Hoseok's and Chaeyun's ears, who remained in the living room. They were still waiting for Jisoo and Seokjin to finish their dinner and for Soora to finally give in and let her guard down, going out to eat. 

Neither of them paid much attention to who had left the apartment, both thought it could have been one of the other two, maybe to get something that was missing or to go for some other commitment. 

However, when the couple appeared in the room together announcing that dinner was ready, Chae and Hobi looked at each other.

"Wasn't one of you out?" Hoseok questioned with a frown. The couple looked at each other confused and denied. "Then...? Aish, I could have sworn I heard someone leave." He commented scratching the back of his neck and tilting his head to the side, thoughtful.

"I heard it too." Chae assured.

"Wouldn't it have been in the apartment next door?" Jin asked with a frown.

"No, I'm sure it was here." Chaeyun assured.

"But if no one left..." Jisoo mumbled, equally confused.

"Soora!" Seokjin exclaimed, sprinting out of the living room.

"It can't be, she's unable..." Hoseok denied, following after the therapist toward Soora's bedroom and finding Seokjin there standing in front o a slightly ajar door.

"She's not in the room. " He muttered. There was no need to push the door open to see if she was there or not, it was clear that the bedroom was empty.

Shock filled everyone's expressions, until panic began to take over most as they concluded what that meant. 

In a mad rush the four left the apartment and looked everywhere, they expected to find the girl still inside the building, but after a thorough search of all floors, the ballroom, and even the terrace, they found nothing. Finally, everyone gathered outside the building, looking out over the courtyard and gardens nearby, but not seeing a shadow of the young woman.

"This can not be happening, where can she be?" Hobi questioned with his hands on his head, terrified of what could happen to Soora.

"I don't know, that's not normal! She wouldn't just run into the middle of the street, she would be paralyzed with fear! We were supposed to have found her already!" Chae burst in complete hysteria, her face washed with tears.

"We don't know her state. She went days without eating, perhaps without medication, or even if she took medication, some medications are too heavy for her to take on an empty stomach. She could be having some kind of hallucinogenic psychotic break from the medication." Jisoo explained, trying to remain calm, but equally worried.

"So you're saying that she might be out on the streets walking aimlessly?" Chae questioned in an almost thin voice, fearing the answer and Jisoo nodded.

"The best thing is to call the police." Jin muttered, picking up his cell phone and walking away to make the call.
