John/ Day 1
"You've been working all day, finals are, what, a month away? C'mon, Y/n, relax," I whined, flopping onto my girlfriend's bed. She lived with her twin brother, Alexander Hamilton, and I visited them as often as possible.
"I have to get this essay done. If I get future assignments done, than I'll have more free time," Y/n argued, fingers darting about the keyboard.
"But you have free time now," I pointed out, frowning. "Don't you want to spend time with your boyfriend?" Y/n froze before slowly turning around on her swivel chair.
"I told you to never play that card again. You. Are. Dead." she growled in a low, even voice. I gulped.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" I screamed, unsuccessfully blocking the hits from her pillow. "Y/n, stop! Your pillow is like a brick!"
"Good," she snapped, returning to her computer. I sighed. And sighed again. And again. And- "Stop being passive aggressive and tell me what you want."
"For you to go see turtles with me?" I said, smiling sheepishly. Y/n rolled her eyes.
"John, I'll go with you tomorrow. I just need to finish work for finals first," Y/n compromised.
"Fine," I grumbled. "Alex needs to learn to stop teaching you bad habits." There was no response, only the clicking of the keys and the door shutting as I left.
Day 2
"You didn't sleep, did you," I suspected, noting the dark shadows under her e/c eyes. Y/n shrugged.
"It was worth it. I got everything for my majors and minors done," she explained, turning back to the computer with a yawn.
"You need sleep, N/n. Siriously, though, you're going to be dead tired tomorrow," I tried to reason, resting my hands on her shoulders.
"Mountain dew," Y/n pointed to her stash of mountain dew bottles.
"Red mountain dew?" I questioned, glancing at her.
"Sh, I'm almost done with this," she shushed me and I rolled my green eyes.
"Take a break," I told her, gently massaging her shoulders. Y/n sighed from the masseuse.
"Later," Y/n muttered, leaning into my touch.
"I'm holding you to that."
Day 3
"Time for you to take a break," I declared, entering her room. I had spent some time with Alex, who had apparently already finished his finals stuff.
5:30 in ze afternoon with Alexander Hamilham
"I swear, you're bad habits are rubbing off on her," I frowned, taking a sip of water.
"Nah, she's been like that since we were kids," Alex shrugged. I nearly choked.
"Hamiltons are weird. And overachievers," I groaned, smacking my forehead. Alex snorted.
"Least we won't be late for anything," he replied.
"If I get Y/n to change her surname to Laurens, I am going to break her habit of working all the time," I muttered under my breath. Alex heard. Alexander heard. Oh shi-. I'm dead.
"Stay away from my sister," Alex shouted, trying to intimidate me.
"Shorty," I snickered, standing as well. Alex huffed and stomped upstairs.
Ze current time with ze reader
"I'm not done," she responded, still typing away. I lifted her hands, placing butterfly kisses on them.
"You said later," I pouted, kissing her cheeks. Y/n's face was a warm red.
"I didn't specifically say when later was," she argued as I kissed her forehead.
"Later could be now," I kissed her nose.
"But, John," she complained but I silenced her with a kiss.
"C'mon, Y/n, we can watch a movie. Or cuddle. Or both," she giggled at my enthusiasm.
"Fine," she complied very reluctantly. I pumped my fist in the air in triumph. Y/n laughed and pecked my lips, leading the way to her bed. (There's a small tv in your room)
"Tangled?" I raised an eyebrow as Y/n clicked on it. She glared at me.
"Of course," she scoffed, turning it on.
"Haven't you memorized this by now," I teased, snuggling with her under the soft covers.
"Oh, shush, the movie's starting."
Soon enough, I fell asleep with Y/n in my arms, my face hidden in her h/c hair.
I woke to a clicking sound. Y/n was at her computer. Again.
"Go to sleep," I said, facing her on the bed.
"I have to finish, Jackie," she said, fingers flying over the keys.
"You need sleep, N/n," I pointed out, walking over to her and wrapping my arms around her waist. My head rested on her shoulder.
"Sleep is for the weak," Y/n said, beautiful eyes fixated on the screen.
"Did you just call your boyfriend weak?" I jokingly glared at her.
"Oh, shut up," she retorted. I picked her up and tickled her sides, dropping her on the bed.
"First you call me weak and now you tell me to shut up," I flopped down on top of her.
"John, get off," she whined.
"As make up, you have to give me a kiss and you have to cuddle with me for the rest of the night," I said, staring into her eyes.
"Jack-"
"I'll tickle you till you say yes," I threatened, positioning my hands at her sides.
"Fine, I'll give you a kiss," she complied.
"And," I prompted, smirking. Y/n scowled.
"And cuddle with you for the rest of the night," she finished. I beamed and flung the covers over us.
"Sounds wonderful," I said, pulling her close to me by her waist. I rested my head on her shoulder and turned slightly to breathe in the scent of her hair. Strawberry, lavender, chocolate.
"I love you," Y/n yawned, fighting to stay awake. I smiled softly at her.
"I love you too, now get some rest," I kissed the side of her face. Y/n fell asleep under my protective gaze. Positive she was asleep, I let myself drift off.I
Ze morning
Y/n struggled to get out of John's arms. His eyes opened and he yawned, pulling her into his chest.
"I never did get that kiss," John said, a mischievous light in his green eyes. Y/n rolled her own e/c eyes and connected their lips.
"What are you doing in bed with my sister, Laurens?!" and, of course, Alexander had to ruin the moment. All good things come to an end, I guess.
"Piss off, Alex," Y/n sleepily, giving the not so nice hand gesture to her brother. Alex gasped dramatically and stormed out of the room.
"I love you," John chuckled, pecking her nose.
"I love you too, now shut up and sleep with me," and with that, the couple dozed off again.
