"Already for your first blind date?" John asked, smiling at me through the tv. We were skyping on the tv in my bedroom. I rolled my eyes.
"No, you didn't tell me which dress to wear. Black or red," I complained, holding up both form fitting dresses. John's cheeks turned red but he just smiled.
"Black," he decided. " Oh, and wear those flats I bought you."
"Alright, thanks, John," I kissed him through the tv. "I'll tell you everything afterwards."

"J-John?" I was shocked. Here I was, at the night club, and there was John. John Laurens. He was dressed nicely but I was incredibly surprised to see him heere.
"Yeah," he chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm your date."
"You set me up!" I shouted once the initial shock left me. Boiling rage took its place. John held up his hands.
"Woah, N/n, chill. I would've been setting you up either way," he pointed out.
I didn't bother to listen to his logic. Instead, I stormed towards and out the double doors. Right as I was about to open my car door, hands on my hips stopped me.
"Let. Go." I growled, spinning around. John's freckled face greeted me.
"Y/n, I love you. That's why I set you up like this. Can't you see, darling? I love you," John pleaded, his southern accent slipping into his sentence.
"John," I sighed, facing him. " That was kind of a jerk move. You deserve this." I punched his shoulder and he winced. "But you also deserve this."
I gently pressed my lips against his, cupping his face with my hands. He stiffened up at first, but soon he relaxed, kissing back passionately. John played with my hair as I broke away from him. We rested our foreheads against the other's, panting slightly at the passionate kiss.
"I don't want you to arrange another blind date for me," I requested quietly, arms around his neck.
"Oh? And why not," he teased. I rolled my eyes at him and hugged him tightly.
"Because I want a real date with you. Because I don't want a date with someone else, I want a date with you," I murmured against his chest. John froze.
"I love you, Y/n," he said quietly. I smiled.
"I love you too, Jackie."

"Jack, guess what?!" I shouted at the tv, voice laced with heavy sarcasm.
"What?!" John yelled back, green eyes bright.
"You were my blind date!!" I practically screamed. We both burst into laughter, falling over and clutching our stomachs.
"Y/n," John waited until I was somewhat serious again and not a giggling mess.
"Mhm," I said, still holding my middle and smiling at him.
"Will you my girlfriend," he asked, fidgeting nervously. My mouth dropped and I squealed,
"Of course I would, John!"
