Philip
A random, yet beautiful, girl waltzed up to me, planting her hands on her hips. H/c hair ended at her b/p and e/c eyes sparkled with boldness.
"I heard you're a player. So let's play a game," she decided mischievously. I raised an eyebrow. "Let's sweet talk, play fight, talk 24/7. Let's tell each other 'good morning' and 'good night' everyday. Let's take walks together, give each other nicknames, hang out with each other's friends. Let's go on dates, hold each other, kiss and hug. And whoever falls in love first? Looses."
"You seem pretty sure that you'll win," I noted. The girl smiled smugly.
"I will," she assured me. " Y/n L/n. Friend of Theodosia."
"Philip Hamilton, as you know," I smirked, an arm snaking around her waist.

                                            A week later

"Hey, Pip," Y/n smirked, knowing I despised the nickname. I groaned.
"Stop, N/n," I grumbled. She giggled. Butterflies appeared in my stomach. She had me helpless, that was for sure.
"Why, Pip?" Y/n teased, walking towards me. I sighed.
"I hate you," I whined, pushing her against the wall. She laughed.
"You love me," Y/n corrected, kissing my cheek. I blushed. That was too true.

                                           One month later

"Philip!" Y/n shouted in surprise as I scooped her up and ran to the park. "Philip Hamilton, put me down!"
"No thanks," I chuckled, sitting beneath a tree with her on my lap. Y/n groaned and fake pouted.
We sat there for a while, just enjoying each other's presence. Eventually, I got the courage to confess.
"So, um, Y/n, I have something for you," I mumbled nervously, taking a ring from my jean pocket. It had both of our birthstones on it and the band was a plain bronze. A promise ring.
"Ah, thanks, Pip," she kissed my cheek. "Not complaining, but why are you giving this to me?"
"I love you," I said, watching her face for a reaction. She smiled.
"I love you too, Philip," she declared.
"No, like... I lost," I said, wrapping my arms around her waist and holding her tightly.
"Wait," her face brightened as she realized what I meant. " You deserve this."
I expected her to slap me, but all she ended up doing was slamming her lips on mine.
"I love you too, Philip."
