Another day, another lovely day in Hell.
Charlie looked out her balcony, which looked over a garden at the back of the castle. A sigh escaped her mouth, softly whistling across the wind making her think, should she see her parents? It's been years since they all had a proper family outing, but who would even think that the Devil would have a child? Not a single soul.
The exterminations were still ongoing unfortunately, it made Lilith feel distant from everyone and tries to isolate herself from everyone, Lucifer meanwhile attempted to seem normal and happy on the outside but Charlie can tell he is faking it, she's lived with them for so long. It also made Charlie feel she was a bit of a burden to her beloved parents, she is the complete of what her parents are.
Demons, embodiments of pure evil and most of all, the main destruction of all mankind, drowning them all in sin. But Charlie has never done any of that, many demons, however, protested against them Magne family, all wondering why they were not targeted by the exterminators.
Charlie herself knew the answer but never had the guts to tell anyone since it was never really answered by Lucifer or Lilith to the public, so she kept her mouth shut. She hoped that all the troubles would go away, that her parents were back to who they used to be and that everything was fine.
But it wasn't.
She didn't wanna keep sad all day though, so she walked away from the balcony and went out for the day. But this time she was being cautious.
Her parents finally told her about the Radio Demon, Alastor himself. Every murder he committed, every single demon he disintegrated, all Charlie was told about. Since then she didn't really wanna go out alone so she usually has Razzle and Dazzle to look out for her.
But she wasn't going to the city, she was going to a field. It was dead, the atmosphere was dark and unpleasant but still, she goes there, so she can be alone for a while. Even in her own room she still felt like she's being watched by her parents.
As she walked up to a hill, she picked up a flower with thorns and red petals, reminding her of Maverick. She gripped the flower tightly and sighed deeply, "Were you even there for me...? " she whispered under her breath, clearly not pleased with the memory of her ex and dropped the flower to the ground.
She stood up straight on the hill and looked over in front of her, she can see her kingdom falling, year by year she can feel the demons and sinners living more than just in Hell. But she never gave up hope, Charlie can feel it. Maybe she can help, she knows she can!
"There's a new world coming... And it's just around the bend... " She sang softly, her voice began slowly but smooth as the wind whistled and she can feel her blonde hair sway, the scenery felt more lively, Charlie made an aura that made the grass look green.
The sky around her started to turn blue and sunny and she prepared her voice,
"There's a new world coming.. This one's coming to end... "
"There's a new voice calling, you can hear it if you try... " Someone sang.
Charlie wasn't surprised though since when she met or sang with the mysterious demon, she felt comfortable singing with him. She never minded his presence.
" And it's growing stronger... With each day that passes by. " Charlie joined, giggling after singing her line, it never gets old.
The demon chuckled with her, "There's a brand new morning, rising clear and sweet and free. "
"There's a new day dawning, that belongs to you and me. "
The two sang sweetly, their voices mixed perfectly as they can feel the connection between then growing stronger and stronger. It was pleasant, Charlie was pleased, while the demon, Alastor, felt delighted.
"Are you sure this will work? "
The woman raised a finger at the queen and chuckled for a short time, dropping a piece of red string in the cauldron, "Patience, my queen. This process is complicated as it is dangerous. " she said in a very raspy voice, fitting her looks.
She wore a raggedy grey dress with holes and over it a burlap sack that was designed to look like a coat. But nevertheless, this wasn't what she looked like when she was alive. She had the appearance of a moth.
Lucifer looked into the cauldron and furrowed his brow, a little hesitant, "And you're sure this won't affect them? " he asks, looking at the woman with doubt.
She cackled and pulled out a piece of blonde hair from her coat and looked at it with a twisted look in her eye and looked back at the king. "Trust me, my dear king, this process won't hurt or affect them at all, but if we wanna know if there's some sort of connection between your daughter and the Radio Demon, this is your best shot. "
She dropped the strand into the cauldron and once it touched the liquid, a puff of smoke appeared from inside and created a symbol that looked like an eye. Lilith looked at it with worry. "So what now, Miriam? "
The woman, who is named Miriam, simply chuckled and smiled, "I see what their connection is... " Miriam then ingested the puff and waited for the effects to start.
She can feel it beginning, the feeling of drowsiness overcome her eyes as she yawned. When Lucifer was about to come over to her, she lifted up a hand to him, telling him to stop. "No... This is... Supposed to... Happen. "
She closed her eyes completely and finally just slept.
Lucifer and Lilith waited for only a while until they can hear Miriam muttering under her breath, Lucifer just looked while Lilith walked closer to him, "Can you hear what she's saying? " She asked quietly.
The king simply nodded. "But she's not saying anything... "
"What? " Lilith was confused.
"She's singing... " Lucifer answered.
"there's a new world coming... " Miriam sang.
Her eyes shot open wide as she gasped loudly, overwhelmed and confused. Lucifer immediately attended to her and made her face him, "Did it work??? What happened, what did you see??? " He began shaking her, he was so anxious and scared of the results.
Lilith placed a hand on his shoulder and gently pulled him away from Miriam, "Darling, please calm yourself. " She said in a soothing tone, as Lucifer restrained himself and let go of the witch.
"....You're daughter, " Miriam spoke, catching their attention and listened carefully.
"She and the Radio Demon, they will soon meet. But I do not know when and where. "
Lilith slightly gasped and Lucifer held her close to him, the queen can hear her husband heartbeat loud, making her feel scared inside for her dear child, "There's more, " Miriam continued.
"Their connection, it's... Much more than I thought. They'll meet, and there is nothing you two can do about it. "
Lucifer growled, "No! My daughter will never see that demon! " He yelled, his growl made Lilith tremble with fear.
"I am sorry your highness. Sometimes things happen for a reason, we just don't know if it's good or bad. "

These words continued to ring in Lucifer's ears, it hurt and made him scared severely. Lilith broke down into tears and wouldn't want to leave their bedroom, she just kept weeping. Lucifer, too, felt sorrowful like the rest of his hellish kingdom. He didn't know what to do.
All he had was Lilith and Charlie, and he didn't want to lose both, despite being the Devil or Satan he still have things or people he cherishes. He just wants to rip Alastor to shreds if he wanted to, but even the Radio Demon intimidates him.
He then heard someone humming a tune as it closes in. Charlie walked in, singing beautifully, "there's a new world coming... " Lucifer froze when he heard Charlie sing that line, that was the exact same line Miriam sang during her spell.
"Charlotte dear, where did you get that song? " He asked, trying to not sound paranoid.
"Oh. Well, I sang it while I was out. Why? "
.....silence......
"...Here's a story bout Minnie the Moocher...." He sang on his mic, a large yellow smile on his face.
