"Vaggie, look look! " A cheery Charlie giggled excitedly, showing the moth demon a new sweater with a big smile on her face. Vaggie chuckled and gave her a small smile before hanging a mistletoe on the doorway, climbing down the ladder afterwards, and cleaning off the sweat on her forehead.
Her eyes looked upon the small plant inflated atop, as her smile grew, "It's great that you suggested this Charlie, I'm sure the guests will love it as well." Vaggie says delightedly, with Charlie giggling before heading off to wear her newly knitted sweater, that gave Vaggie the cue to frown as she watched her beat friend skip away.
In reality, nobody seemed to be interested in the Christmas event for the hotel. Since the hotel was about rehabilitating demons and such, the rosy-cheeked princess thought it'd be a good idea to celebrate Christmas rather than something much more brutal than what they celebrate in Hell for the holidays.
And since Charlie has no knowledge of how to celebrate this particular holiday, she got the rest of her friends to tell her about it, only to get answers a lot more sinister and disgusting, the disgusting ones mostly from Angel so Vaggie ended up telling Charlie what the right idea was. The only thing good that came out of the spider's mouth was hanging mistletoe on top of doorways, go figure.
Vaggie's face scrunched into a nervous look, wondering about what will happen if they'll continue along with this. And worse, the hotel will probably lose some guests as well. However, Vaggie pushed these thoughts aside and tries to focus on what to do next, which was to hang some garlands across the halls.
"You look a lot more stressed than you usually are, toots. " A voice commented behind her back, but it was almost like it was from above her head, making her more annoyed. Vaggie's eye began to twitch out of pure irritation and grumbled.
"What the hell do you want now, you damn spider?"
Angel snickered and took a look-see to what Vaggie has with her, the box full of garlands. He smirked as he grabbed the box from her clutches, chuckling with amusement, "Bet you can't reach this box. " He said teasingly, obviously referring to Vaggie's height, almost blowing a fuse from her head as she desperately tried to grab or at least tip the box from Angel's grasp.
"Give... Me... That!!! " She yelled in frustration, her entire face turning red, prompting her to easily get insanely mad at the spider demon before summoning a spear in her hands. This, however, made Angel smile instead as he lowered his arms and handed the box over to Vaggie, with her giving him a confused look.
"Well, aren't you gonna take it?" He asked with a smirk, this confused Vaggie further but she couldn't care less about it. Her eyes shifted right at the box in front of her, quickly dropping her weapon and grabbing the box before Angel could do anything.
Smiling it off, Angel just smiled and took his leave right after Vaggie shot him a glare, "Don't be so serious Vags, it's Christmas! Isn't this what it's all about? " With that, he left her alone, utterly filled with confusion but at the same time, leaving her with a small tint of red on her cheeks.
"He loooves you. " Niffty said instantly as she walks away with a broom in her hands, this caused Vaggie to blush profusely, whipping her head towards the one-eyed demon with angry eyes.
"Fuck off!"
Soon, her rage stopped for a while when she hears the clicking of shoes coming her way, with Niffty just smiling like a maniac. Down he came from the stairs, Alastor revealed himself wearing a Christmas themed outfit, "Ho ho ho, Merry Deathmas my dear! " He cheered happily, placing a red rubber ball on the tip of his nose.
