A Moment Of Admiration

A sigh escaped her lips, softly whistling across her mouth as it hits the window. Her eyes looked out the window and sees the red and darkness of Hell, sweeping over those once innocent people, it fills her heart with grief. She was all curled up, looking out the tainted glass as she swept her hand on her leg and brushed it softly, the feeling overcoming her in the very moment.

She can still hear her parents yell in a fit of rage in her head, but yet she cheers their gloomy hearts with her optimistic point of view, Charlie herself is quite special but she doesn't see it. As she ponders, a knock rang through her ears and turned her head towards the door. Knowing she can't keep thinking for long, she stood up and walked up to the door, twisting the door knob,

"Yes? " She said in a quiet tone, the person barely able to hear what emotion she's portraying, but he didn't mind. Alastor sees Charlie feeling a little blue, as her expression and her now meek demeanor starts to show itself.

The demon chuckled, his gloved hand under his mouth as Charlie sees that Alastor was in front of her. She squeaked a little, she felt a little embarrassed about this but the princess didn't mind Alastor finding it amusing since she sees his humor.

"My dear, we are scheduled for a show tonight and I want to see if you're up for rehearsals. " He said with enthusiasm, hinting a small amount of passion. Charlie furrows her eyes but kept a smile on her face, looking at Alastor with a curious look.

The young demon came out her room and closed the door behind her, facing Alastor by raising her head to look at him, since he's much taller than her, "Yeah, I'm up for it. And you also seem to like this, do you like singing? " She asks curiously, wrapping her arm around his as he obliged her to, as the two walked away.

"Ahaha! Oh Miss Magne, how I love singing! Performing in front of an audience with passion, why I haven't done that in years. " Alastor claimed as he laughed with his heart's content, with his free arm he placed his hand on his chest as he bursted with laughter, making Charlie giggle.

"I'm actually excited to perform this with you, I never really heard you sing before. " She replied, with her eyebrow ring up and her smile still on her lips. She was really glad to perform on the stage with Alastor, but not is she only doing this cause it was one of the special events for the hotel but she wants to get to know Alastor more.

Ever since she agreed with Alastor working with her, he was able to entertain and convince demons to come to the Happy Hotel, it filled Charlie with so much happiness at that day. Vaggie still kept her eye on the Radio Demon, having her suspicions on him as she never thought of anything but to keep Alastor's murderous tendencies in control.

Angel was getting used with Alastor being around, in fact, he's grown a big infatuation with the demon, but of course he's kept his distance at some times. Husk was okay with Al around as long as he doesn't do anything that's like him at all, since it's not good for business and he doesn't want to go looking for another job around Hell.

The other staff members, are either avoiding Alastor or are in good terms with him. But as Charlie is much more optimistic from everyone working at the hotel, she's the only one who actually interacted with Alastor as if he's an old friend and someone she can trust, which made Vaggie mad, obviously.

Charlie didn't mind what the others thought of him, she sees him as a friend like any other and she was happy to have him help her with everything. Not only was he helping her with the hotel, but he's also encouraging her to pursue her dreams and never give up, it made Charlie think that Alastor isn't so bad once you get to know him.

As the sound of their shoes tapping across the halls, they continued talking as they pleased, with Charlie giggling and Alastor laughing at the end of every conversation. It was clear to them and to the rest of the staff, they've became best friends. They have the same humor, they have almost the same interests and most of all, they both trust each other.
