A Duet Far From Over

The crowd erupted a huge applause for the two tux-wearing demons, bowing on the stage both with big smiles on their faces. Alastor never felt so alive, ironically. He swung his top hat afterwards and summoned his staff once more in his hands.

"I hoped you all enjoyed our wonderful performance tonight folks, tune in next time here in.... The Happy Hotel! " He yelled atop his lungs with the same New Orleans accent with his large yellow teeth visible from within his charismatic smile. Al held the princess close to him as they waved their goodbyes to the audience, slipping into the darkness, the spotlights swirling around the red curtains.

Charlie skipped happily backstage with Alastor just behind her with the same positive energy, Vaggie clapped genuinely and hugged Charlie in response, and said. "That was amazing Charlie! I'm really proud of you two. "

The rosy cheeked princess giggled, her hands carefully making their way to Vaggie's shoulders as the two shared a smile. Unknown to the rest of the crew, Alastor snuck away from the crowd of employees and made his way into the creepy and empty halls of the hotel. As always, his wicked smile never left his face and the eerie feeling of the darkness surrounding the corridor matched the aura he unleashed from within himself.

Just as he turned to a corner, he stumbled upon a one-eyed demon wearing a cute 50's style outfit with splashes of pink and yellow. The little demon paused from her work, her hand holding onto a duster lightly as she stood still for a few seconds before grinning with delight.

"Alastor! I was hoping I'd get to see you around here, without any attention. " Niffty said, her eyes glimmered as she placed a hand on her hip.

The deer demon grinned back at her and took her hand as a small gesture of good will, "It's a delight to see you as well Niffty, my good old friend. You look lovely as always. " He complimented, earning a giggle from the girl.

"Y'know, it's odd for a fella like you to be working with Ms Magne, care to tell me? " She asked, her voice seemingly wanted to push Alastor to tell her what was in his mind. But of course she's aware that when it comes to Alastor, the Radio Demon himself, he wouldn't really give a straightforward answer considering his mysterious demeanor and unknown past.

Nevertheless, despite her question wanting to figure out what Alastor was up to with the princess of Hell, he didn't mind her asking about his motives. He understood that most of his, at least, close friends are always curious regarding his plans around Hell.

With that in mind, he replied, "Darling, I can assure you that my reason for my alliance with Ms Magne is merely mutual. It would be a shame if someone just left her in the dark, just like that. " Looking at his gloved hand as he spoke, his right hand gripping on the top of his staff. Niffty smiled a little, but it was forced.

The two bid each other a good day, with a somewhat scary tension from both demons. However, Niffty chose to ignore it and left down the hall, duster in hand and continued her work in silence. Alastor looked back from afar, the silent demeanor Niffty put up made his toothy smile larger. Surprisingly, it didn't really satisfy him, for something so devious he had for making Niffty shook, he wasn't entirely pleased with what he had done.

This place was getting into him, he thought, of all things that would change him for the better never had he thought that it would be a hotel that doubles as a rehab center. It was ridiculous to think that a place like the Happy Hotel is able to mold Alastor into something much good, the whole idea sickened him. He trotted away with a glee on his step, hiding his disgusted expression from anyone else in the halls, worst of all, he's in the mood for a little hell raising.

One step after another though, it made him wonder if this whole pet project of Charlie's can actually work, but just by thinking about it sounded already almost too improbable to be true. Overall, Alastor isn't convinced. But his plan for the hotel cannot falter just by this small setback, he can't fall back now, not when he's this close.
