"Hoo-wee! That was some party, eh Husky? " Angel says flirtatiously at the cat demon who looks like he's about to pass out from all the drinking, much to Vaggie's chagrin. She and her two coworkers are currently trying to get ready for the day but are having trouble because they were all still hungover from last night's party.

"I knew throwing that stupid party was a bad idea, who gave Charlie that idea?? " Vaggie face palmed, Husk grumbles and continued drinking from an ale bottle,

"I don't know toots, but I did hear it was strawberry pimp's idea." The male spider said before taking off, straightening his bow tie and brushing on his hair. Vaggie rolled her eyes and sighed, she has to face another day full of management and a lot more guests flocking the hotel. Sad thing was Angel never forgotten what happened a few days back and he's trying his best to soften around Vaggie without raising any suspicion.

But he wondered, where are the two head honchos of the hotel? Charlie and Alastor are in the middle of a meeting in an old study which was renovated per Charlie's request. It was big in comparison to Charlie's office, which is now getting fixed because of a spider demon they know all too well who accidently thought it was Vaggie's office.

They've been busy discussing about the future of the hotel and the first few patrons finally being sent to Heaven, it took Alastor by surprise that even a handful of demons were able to ascend up to the one place he never thought of. But their conversation reminded Charlie of a thought she had that lingered in her mind for a while now, she was afraid to discuss it with Alastor.

"To further my point, in order to gain the more troubled demons, maybe we should host a weekly session with the guests and talk to them about their problems... " Charlie continued on, trying to act cool throughout their meeting. Alastor however caught up with her nervous expressions when he saw her first thing in the morning. Normally a demon with a reputation line him wouldn't care but he was curious what was on her mind.

"Well my dear, I believe I cannot hide my suspicions no longer. Is there a problem that I should know about? " He asked before Charlie can even talk further, she was dumbfounded but she's gotta admit, she's horrible at hiding secrets.

"... I.. I guess.. Ahem. Al, you've been a huge help for a few months now and a huge asset to attracting guests here at the hotel, I really thank you for that, " Alastor nodded, but unfortunately he pressed her for more since Charlie seemed like she's just getting started. "But I was thinking lately, about what would happen if you were to be... T-to be...

.. Redeemed...?"

Alastor was almost shaken by this revelation, Charlie notices and wished she hadn't said anything. She knew talking to Alastor about this was a bad idea, hoping that maybe he'd brush it off and take it as a joke instead.

Unfortunately for her, he didn't. He stood up from the couch he was sitting on but still kept his composure relaxed and, that golden smile of his grew much wider as he walked over to the emotionally disturbed princess and,

He hugged her.

Charlie was about to yell, she has no idea of what to do nor what to say after Alastor would eventually part from her. She wasn't expecting that, that's for sure, despite her body freezing at that very moment, she slowly raised her arms and hugged Alastor back. Just then, a tingling feeling flowed across both of their bodies making them feel, for lack of a better word, safe.

Both of them didn't dare to move at all and embraced each other, Alastor was only intending to calm Charlie but a feeling in his heart tells his he shouldn't and continue to comfort her. The same goes for Charlie, who is completely stuck in that position.
