The events here happen days later
Scott got out of bed, getting ready for work. He got more pills, so he was more energetic now. He pulled on his uniform and grabbed his coffee flask, leaving his house. He would usually take a shortcut to save gas, but the shortcut was by William's house and he wasnt going anywhere near that bitch.
Instead, he took the long way, using his car instead of walking. Luckily, Scott still got there on time. He instantly regretted it when he saw William waiting for someone. He tried to quietly exit his car and walk to the back door. "Scotty!"
Damn it.
Scott took a deep breath in. "The hell do you want?" He snapped. Will was slightly taken aback, but he knew he sort of deserved that. "Oh! Boss says we have our shifts together..." he looked at he didnt want to break the news to Scott.
"Alrighty then!" Scott said, cheerfully. William was confused until he noticed the orange container in Scott's bag. So, he took his pills? Good. Scott looked back at Will. "Are you coming?" He called, and ran inside, not looking for an answer.
Okay, Scott was not actually happy to be working with Will. But, he was still in a good mood and hes not letting anything ruin that. Will stepped into the security office and sat on the only chair. Well that's rude. Scott leaned against the door frame, chewing his gum loudly.
Scott popped a bubble with the gum and Will stood up, quickly. "Would you knock it off? It's getting annoying!" The purple male leaned his face close to Scott's. The younger male poked Will in the chest, digging his nail in repeatedly. He leaned in close to William, blew another bubble and...
POP
Scott still chewed his gum, watching William trying not to get mad was hilarious. Yes, he was doing this on purpose. If the person who you have a crush on doesn't love you back, annoy them. That's what he went by anyway.
After William had collected himself again, he turned out the sound of the gum. The sound was gone, but he could still see Scott. He could see his silly black hair, his chocolate brown eyes, the little speckled freckles across his face and his soft looking lips. It took everything that William had to not get up and kiss Scott.
That its, untill Scott actually walked into the room when he saw something on the camera. Now the two were extermy close. So close that their faces were touching. Scott was still chewing the gum, and he licked his lips. Well, needless to say, William left to fix a little...problem.
After a few minutes Will returned and saw that Scott was gone. "Where'd the little shit go?" He asked himself, gritting his teeth. Leaving the room, he knew he wouldnt have to look far. Scott never left far from his task. He looked in the main hallway. Nothing. The left hall? Nope. William decided to look in the main show area and sure enough, there was Scott.
He grumbled something to himself and walked up to Scott. "The hell are you doing? We have--oh." He stopped short when he saw the younger male wrapping a little girls arms in bandages. Scott looked pretty annoyed. Regardless, he remained calm. If he didnt, the little girl probably would've freaked out.
"Sorry. Uhm..." Scott turned to the girl. "What's your name?" He asked as gently as he could. The blonde responded, a few tears still in her eyes from sobbing. "Cassidy..." Scott smiled at her and turned back to Will. "Cassidy broke her arm while trying to climb on Bonnie."
He finished bandaging her arm and sent her off to her mother. As he watched the young girl go, Scott felt an arm on his shoulder. "You're going to make a great dad one day." William smiled and led Scott back to the security office. Scott rolled his eyes and stumbled after William.
Scott ignored everything William had said. Instead, he sat in the furthest corner and started drawing in his sketch book. A 'whatcha drawing there, Scotty' caused him to yelp and clutch his sketchbook close to his chest. He looked up and saw William standing over him.
"None of your business." Scott replied, standing up and shoving William out of his way. The purple man moved in the way again and Scott gritted his teeth together, agitated. "William. Get out of my way." He demanded. Will smirked at him. "Not untill you tell me that were still friends."
Friends....no. He wouldnt think of them as friends. But they weren't enemies either. They were a bit of both now. Like...frenemies.
