The first thing Scott saw when he awoke was William pushed up against the window. He stared at his friend, confused. Didnt Scott tell him to leave? He groaned and shifted over. His head was aching and the room seemed to be spinning.

William glanced back at the bed when he heard Scott stir. He walked to his friend and knelt down next to the bed. "I have some coffee being made and I found some Ibuprofen." Will smiled and put his hand on Scott's head, like a mom checking if he had a fever.

Scott weakly smiled. "Thanks, Will." He got up and walked toward the kitchen. He stopped when he saw a lump in the couch. Scott cautiously walked around the couch, holding his fingers in the sign of a cross. Just in case.

Scott couldn't remember what happened last night. He remembers Jeremy coming over, putting him to sleep, going to Mike's house and...nothing. "ah. That must be what's on the couch." He talked to himself as he poured coffee into a flask.

Scott began cooking breakfast. Within the first five minutes of the pancakes being cooked, Jeremy fluttered his eyes open. "M-morning Sc-Scott!" He sat up and smiled. Scott snickered at Jerremy. The young male gave a confused look and felt his hair. After a moment of realization he asked for a hairbrush. Scott told him where it was and went back to cooking.

Scott slipped the last pancake into a plate and called out, "Breakfast!" To his guest. Though he was fairly certain he had only invited Jeremy over. His friends came to the kitchen. Jeremy smiling as a thank you and William just taking a plate.

Scott sat on the couch, looking for a movie. It was one of those days you just wanted to relax. He looked through Netflix but found nothing interesting. Scott took a drink of his coffee, the hot liquid burning his tounge.

He got up and got his coat and scarf on. "I'm heading out. Jeremy, go home if you want to. Will, go home when you're done eating. I know for a fact I didnt invite you." Jeremy nodded and Will blinked, "Arent you gunna eat?" Scott shook his head and slipped on his boots. "Not hungry." He replied.

"Besides I--mmfh!" He was cut off by a pancake being shoved into his mouth. William stood in front of Scott, holding another pancake. "Eat." He demanded. Scott spit out the pancake, and glared. "Dude what the fu--augh!" This time Scott ate some of the pancake he had made. "Quit doing that." He pouted after spitting it out again.

He opened the door and left the two alone. Scott began walking, his feet kicking up some of the leaves on the ground. He loved autumn. The colors, the air, and most importantly, the pumpkin pie he gets to make. Scott pulled out his ear buds and played his music.

He hummed along to the song, occasionally singing some of the lyrics. "...stones at walls I'll never climb, victim to the sands of time! Falling through the hourglass..." he trailed off, taking another drink of his coffee.

Scott wasnt one hundred percent sure where he was headed. He just wanted to get out of the house for a bit and enjoy the cool autumn air. He smiled as chilly wind hit his face, making his cheeks go red from the cold.

William had no plan whatsoever to leave. In his eyes, Scott needed to be protected from...something. Thing was, he didnt know exactly what he was protecting Scott from. Will sat in Scotts room, staring at the stars on the ceiling.

He looked over to the taped photo of Scott's mom, and mentally kicked himself. He quickly got up and went through Scott's drawers, disposing of anything and everything sharp enough to cut him. Is this what he was protecting Scott from?

If that was the case, Will would be Scotts scarecrow, protecting the field of corn that was Scott's happiness.
