15 - The Invitation

Connor's P.O.V

After arriving back from the schedule I had after Beth left, I plopped onto my bed exhausted.

Ding!, my phone went.

I checked my phone to find it was a message from Ricky.

R: Dude remember our party tonight.

SHIT. I FORGOT.

C: Ugh I almost forgot. Thanks for reminded me.

R: No probs. Oh yeah, also come with a girl or be classified as loner. All of us have one.

Fuck.

C: Hmm okay. Bye.

R: See ya.

I sat up, troubled.

Now what?! Who the heck was I supposed to bring?!

Ugh this sucks. Why was this happening?!

I didn't even have anyone to bring!

That was when I remembered.

Beth. I could ask Beth.

I whipped out my phone, texting her.

C: Hey Beth. The O2L guys are having a party tonight with some friends. We gotta bring a girl so come with me?

I clicked send, before putting down my phone on the bed.

Ugh what if she thinks I'm a freak?

Just then, my phone sounded.

She replied.

My heart beat excitedly as I opened the message.

B: Sounds cool. I haven't been to a party in a long time and I totally should go and loosen up a bit.

Omg YES.

C: Kay :) I'll pick you up at 7?

B: Sure! See ya.

C: Bye.

Phew... at least I got someone to go with me.

Bethany's P.O.V

The minute we ended our conversation, I jumped out of bed and to my closet.

I spent almost half an hour rummaging through my closet until I finally selected an outfit.

I grabbed my clothes and rushed into my toilet to shower.

After 45 minutes, I was all ready.

I was wearing a white long sleeve jumper that had the monkey emoji's on it and a black mini skater skirt. (photo attached)

I had curled the ends of my hair slightly, and for my make up I kept it simple - foundation, concealer under my eyes and on my spots, eyeliner, mascara, and finished off the lock with bold red lipstick.

I looked at my phone, only to find the time was 6.55.

Shit.

I grabbed my sleek black clutch and stuffdd in my phone, wallet, lipstick and some other makeup products, before rushing down stairs.

Jim and Kenzie were downstairs, laughing and cudlding on the couch.

Ew.

They're cute but...

They're progressing way to fast.

Upon seeing me, they immediately stopped cuddling, Jim clearing his throat.

J: "Oh umm Beth! You're here..."

B: "Yep. This is my house, isn't it? Anyways, sorry for interrupting."

K: "What? Interrupting what? I mean like--"

B: "Forget it. I don't mind."

I cut her off.

Just then, I heard a car horn from outside.

Connor.

J: "Who's that?"

B: "Oh its just Connor. I'm going out with him. See you guys later."

J: "Bye!"

K: "Good luck with him!"

She said, before giving me a wink.

I rolled my eyes, before slipping on my black Dr. Martin boots and rushing out of the house.

So I don't know about you, but I'm currently having exams which explains why I haven't updated.

I hope you forgive me, I'm really stressed with work

But on the bright side, exams end next Tuesday and I'll be updating a lot!

I hope you guys understand^^
