Now I'm even pissed cause we don't have internet at home anymore so it's hard for me to update. Plus I'm still training at work and I don't have service. Y'all I'm stressing over here.

But forget my talking here's the well needed update.

Jennifer and Karter are headed into their junior year of college.

"Bae quit it!" I giggled as Antwan kept tickling me sides.

We were sitting both sitting outside on the balcony. I was sitting in his lap facing him, as we passed the blunt between each other, constantly laughing at the nonsense he kept saying.

"So she really called you? Did you pick up?" He asked. "Yeah Antwan that's still my sister." I said laying my head on his chest.

"I thought she was either dead or just missing in action." He said, pulling from the blunt and passing it to me.

"Nah she's back at home still, going to school there."

"Mph!" Was all he said, I gave him the back the blunt and laid my head back on his chest, listening to his heart beat.

"You my baby right." Antwan said, placing his hand on my ass. I nodded my head against his chest.

"Yeah, I love you August." I said, calling him by his first name, causing him to chuckle a bit. "I love you too lil' mama."

We both sat there quietly. The only thing that could be heard were the cars in the city below. The moon shined against us, giving us just enough light to see each other underneath the dark sky.

I laid there, hearing his heart contemplating on telling him about Jerome and him raping me. It was long overdue and I finally had my man, I just didn't want to lose him again.

"Antwan!"

"Karter!"

We both said simultaneously, followed by a chuckle. I sat up and bit and looked at him. "You first bae."

"No you go Antwan."

"Ight, so marry me."

I quickly raised my eyebrow at him, nervously laughing. "Come In Antwan quit playing, say what you was gone say." I crossed my arms.

"I mean I'm dead serious, slide back some." He said, tapping my thigh.

I slide back and he dug into his pocket trying to pull something out. "It's been a bit of a year now Karter, we ain't gotta rush. But I want you to be mine for real."

Opening the box he pulled out a beautiful diamond ring, slowly sliding it on my ring finger. Fitting my hand perfectly.

"Oh you're serious." Warm tears began to stream down my face, as he glanced at my hand and smiled.

"Of course I am baybeh'."

I pulled him in for kiss, pecking his lips and smiling. He grabbed the nape of my neck, roughly holding me in for a much longer kiss.
