Cherise has always tried to help others even if it meant never helping herself. When she meets a boy trapped by a dark past she does all she can to help him even when her own life is derailed all she can think about is saving this broken boy.
Will...
I get to the P.E block and go into changing room 2. I am one of the first there, I say hi to the other girls and get changed quickly. I pull on my matching Adidas tracksuit and hoodie set (picture after without the heels - replace heels with Jordan 13's).

I glance at my Fitbit and the time reads 10:00 since the lesson starts at 10:30 I decided to go for a quick run. I went past the P.E office and notified the teachers that I was going to use the field. Being in sixth form really has it's perks, teachers let you do pretty much anything as long as you didn't break any rules.
I pushed in my Airpods and got lost in my playlist. Pulling the heavy gate towards me I check my laces and tie my hair into a high ponytail. I set off at a slow pace before I spot two figures in the distance gaining speed as they rush towards me.
When they are a few metres away I can make out there faces to be Levi and Jay-P. Instead of slowing down Levi runs straight past me. Jay-P scoffs at him and watches him run into the distance.
"Hey Cherise, didn't know you ran track," he says to me after he pulled out his earphones. He carefully wrapped them around his phone. I payed careful attention to him as he carefully teased out a knot in the middle of it. His brow furrowed in concentration. Before I knew what I was doing I reached out my hand and touched his face. Using my thumb to rub out the creases and using my other hand to pull his earphones carefully out his hand.
He looked up at me, a look of shock and confusion on his face. I pulled my hand away quickly.
"Sorry that was weird wasn't it," I apologised and turned my face away from him to avoid his piercing green eyes. "I used to do that to my brother," I say to him for no reason. I gasp out loud and start to walk away from him. Why did I just say that to him, I am so stupid.
JAY-P'S POV
Pulling my earphones out my ears I notice a huge clump of tangled wires in the middle of wrapping them around my phone. I know Cherise is waiting for me to talk to her but it will annoy me for the rest of the day if I don't sort it out now. Untangling the wires I subconsciously crease my brow. Cherise must notice it because when she reaches out to smooth out the folds above my eyebrows I am taken by surprise.
She jerks her hand away and starts apologising. " Sorry that was weird wasn't it," she says to me before turning away from me. "I used to do it to my brother," she mumbles and starts walking away from me.
Before she can get too far I stretch out my hand and gently tug at her arm getting her to turn back to me. I look at her face and she looks so different to the bold confident woman I am so used to being around. She seems to have shrunk back into herself. Her relationship with her brother must have deteriorated in some way.
She looks up at me and I see a tear stream down her face. I tip her head up to face me and look into her eyes. Instead of being their usual dark umber colour they have lightened to a more chocolate colour. I push some of her hair out of her face and use my thumb to wipe down the single tear that was making its way slowly down her face. I cup her face and look into her eyes again.
