The Odd Twin Out

Chapter 5

Once I arrived at the Grill, I immediately grabbed Matt and explained what was going on with Elena. I agreed to get him some vervain for him and Vicki plus train them. I quickly found Jeremy and shoved a vervain leaf down his throat before Elena could get to him then explained what was going on. I knew that he was going out with Vicki and agreed to train Jeremy while I trained Matt and Vicki. I caught a glimpse of Damon and tried to get back to my car, but he was already there. 

"You need to apologize to Elena, and learn to keep your mouth shut." Damon said

"You and your brother are going to get this town, my home, destroyed. You honestly believe I am going to let that happen without giving this town a fair shot? Out of respect and love for my sister, I agree to not turn you and your brother in. In exchange what's been going on this past month comes to an end. If you need to feed use a blood bag. No more animal attacks and no more missing people. Your lucky I got to Vicki before any other people got hurt and was able to reverse the damage you have done."

"Well that doesn't work for me. So-"

"Well it's going to have to. If one more body falls due to you and your brother not only will I reveal your existence, but I will also make sure that the only way for you to get what you want is by joining her in her fate. I know the story of Emily Bennett. Sheila Bennett is my godmother. Bonnie is easily led astray by Elena but I am not. I easily found where you were hiding Emily Bennett's grimoire. I easily found the moonstone as well. I've already taken measures to insure my family's survival in any possible schemes you may think up. Now you don't hold any of the cards because I hold them all." I lit my hand on fire and my eyes turned purple

"Now I may not have as much training as I should in regards to my talents, but everyone knows that I will go to hell for my family and back. The next time you ever think to come and threaten me or mine I will end the Salvatore line."

"Is that a threat?" Damon said with his devil eyes on full blast as he stepped to me 

I threw a fireball inches from his head "No. Its a promise. You already have enough ancient vampires out for blood. Do you really want an enraged witch out to join the war against you?"

Damon stood there glaring at me. He knew he couldn't win, so he left.

I called Jenna and met her at the college and explained. Jenna was in a state of shock and agreed to stay at the college and finish her thesis. She called Jeremy and told him. Jeremy went and stayed at Matt's house. I managed to get everyone who didn't know in the know and protected. I hid the moonstone. I gave Emily Bennett's necklace and grimoire to Sheila Bennett who agreed to up my magic education from all the grimoires I collected, but we needed to find the place in town where all the witches were burned. I knew there had to be a lot of power on this one sight, and with all these overpowered vampires running around plus Bonnie willing to do anything for Elena I wanted to protect this spot from anyone who would exploit it.
