Musical Theater Karaoke Night (Modern AU)

Alexander was at the Schuyler mansion with Eliza and his friends, Laurens, Mulligan, and Lafayette. After dinner with the Schuyler sisters, everyone decided to have a musical theater karaoke night. Laurens went up to sing and said "All right, everyone, who wants to hear some Dear Evan Hansen?". Just then, Peggy went up to the clipboard and said "Wait. Wait a minute. John, someone crossed out your name and wrote 'Angelica'". Laurens protested and said, "Hey, that's not fair!" "Life's not fair", Angelica said. She was wearing a robe similar to what Mimi from "Rent" wore during her number "Out Tonight". She then took the microphone. "Let's go back to 1996, back in the days of 'Rent'! Hit it!". The music for "Out Tonight" from the musical "Rent" came on.

What's the time?

It says, "Time for danger"

It says, "I wanna commit a crime

I wanna put on a tight skirt
and flirt with a stranger"

When she said the word "flirt", she took off her robe, revealing a leather crop top and leather pants.

Angelica began to approach Alexander and she got a little too close to comfort to him. Alex gets weirded out.

Most everyone seemed to Angelica's rendition of the song, and they applauded, except for Alexander and Eliza, for whom this was...well, awkward. Eliza then got up and said "I'm up next!". The music for "Heart of Stone" from "Six" began to play.
