Once the musical was finally over, Lola and the Serpents began to spend almost all of their free time training with the sheriff's department. It felt long and repetitive and they would always mess up somehow, meaning FP wouldn't allow them out on the streets.

It was frustrating for all of them; they wanted to be out there doing something about the Gargoyles, not stuck inside doing a training course. It didn't take long before they had all had enough and they went rogue.

It started with raiding a comic book store that sold fizzle rocks. From there, they found out that the Gargoyles were going old school; they were hanging Gargoyles from telephone wires instead of a pair of shoes to show that there was a drug den nearby.

After that, they all split up and began to chase off the Gargoyles, reclaiming the street corners. However, on their last corner, FP and another officer had been under cover trying to find Kurtz and the place where the drugs were being cooked. The Serpents ended up messing up the whole thing which definitely didn't help their case with FP.

After all of this had happened, Lola got a call from Jughead telling her to meet him at Archie's new gym - which she didn't even know about in the first place. She got lost at least twice trying to find her way, but she eventually made it to where everyone was waiting for her.

As she entered the gym, she recognised all of the Serpents standing around along with Archie but there were a few guys she had never seen before. Lola frowned slightly but continued inside where everyone could see her.

Everyone's eyes turned to her, awaiting her arrival, and Lola froze in her spot once she recognised one more person in the room. "Mad Dog?" she asked, barely above a whisper. Upon hearing his name, Mad Dog looked up from the pages on the table and turned to face Lola, a grin slowly forming on his face.

Lola's face lit up when she realised that her eyes weren't playing tricks on her and she immediately ran towards the boy, jumping into his arms and wrapping her legs around him. Mad Dog chuckled as he spun the girl around in his arms but neither of them noticed the cold, brown eyes glaring at them from across the room.
