Chapter 19

Kaitlyn’s P.O.V:

I feel bad because of what I said to Jai, but I was only sticking up for my best friend. Isn’t that the right thing to do? Anyway I decided to get dressed seeing as I’m still in my bikini, and walked over to their house, it took me a little longer than usual because I was listening to my music full blast in my ears and I tend to walk slow and sing. I got to their house and knocked on their door, Jai opened it looking quite upset, and I could see it in his eyes “what’s the matter?” was my immediate reaction. Jai answered quite plainly “Luke and Beau have had a fight and I don’t know what’s going on, I’m really confused”. It was kind of awkward between me and Jai, seeing as we just had a bit of a fight, well it wasn’t really a fight, it was me having a go at him and hurting him, but he didn’t raise his voice or lay a finger on me, I felt really bad. We sat there for about 2 mins, not saying anything “Look Jai, I’m really sorry for hurting you and saying those things I” he interrupted me, “it’s ok” he said with a smile on his face, he walked over to me and pulled me into a sideways hug, I leant on his chest, that’s when we heard giggling coming from the kitchen, “Sounds like Luke and Tia have made up, thank fuck” I said laughing, Jai laughed too. There was silence in the kitchen, what the hell is going on, one minute they are laughing and joking the next minute they’re silent. Me and Jai both looked at each other and smiled, we crept up to the kitchen and slowly opened the door. “Oh my god” I whisper screamed, we shut the door laughing. Luke and Tia were kissing? Oh my I’m so happy for them!

“We better leave them alone” I said to Jai, through laughs. “Yeah come on then babe” he said opening the door for me. “So what do you want to do?” Jai said. “You can come round mine?” he agreed and we walked back to mine and Tia’s apartment. We got back and I made jai a fruit salad, very healthy I know but I love fruit so yeah. After we had finished that, we decided to go for a drive, I texted Tia:

We got in the car and Jai sat next to me up front and turned my music on shuffle, Summer Paradise came on, this is mine and Jai’s favourite song, we are absolutely in love with it! Anyway, being jai he had to turn it up even louder, and as we had the roof off, everyone was staring at us, but we didn’t care, I loved every minute of it. In the end, we ended up at a KFC, what a surprise there. We ordered our food and made sure we took some home for Tia, Luke and Beau. Otherwise they would probably kill us.

We pulled up at the brooks house armed with the food, but no-one was there, this is strange? So we put the food in the oven and sat down on the sofa and watched a movie, Ps. I love you. Jai’s one of these really cute guys that love chick flicks, it’s good because I love them too, so I had my chick flick buddy. But it was good because we also cuddled the whole way through. “I want ice-cream, do you have any?” I asked “no, wanna go down to scoopers?” Jai’s eyes widened “Yeah, love to” we walked for about five minutes and then I decide I would jump on Jai’s back “Oh challenge accepted” he said, haha he is such a jerk, but I still love him. Yeah I said it, I love him. I’ve known this guy for about two weeks and I’ve already fallen for him, hard. We got to scoopers and we ordered a white chocolate and a triple chocolate, we shared both and went home. When we got in we returned to our previous position on the sofa and pressed play. After about 15 mins, we heard a loud bang from upstairs “What the fuck?” Jai said, I have to admit, I was really quite scared at that point, Jai cautiously walked up the stairs, I followed him, there was another slight bang, it came from Luke and Jai’s bedroom. He slowly opened the door, and there was… Tia and Luke play fighting “Oh my god, you scared the shit out of me you plebs, what the fuck are you doing?” I said laughing. “I don’t actually know” Tia said. “You do realise we bought you KFC and it’s been in the oven for about 2 hours?” Jai said. “NO, what the fuck?” Tia and Luke said barging past us, I nearly fell over but Jai caught me haha. We ran downstairs after them; it was so funny watching them fight for the food. We decided the next day we would go bowling, so we decided to get an early night, Jai had received a text from Beau saying that he was staying at skip’s so we decided we would nick his bed we didn’t want to hear Luke and Tia shagging all night. So I went into beau’s bedroom, I got changed into one of Jai’s T-shirts and got into bed, he was taking a shower, so he would be in shortly, I was so tired I had no idea why though, but today had been a very long day, I was knackered, before I fell asleep I felt two warm arms wrap around my waist, that’s when I fell asleep.
