Then and Now

Bye..

"Hey Eric where are you?" I said to his voicemail. "Hes still not answering ?" Sarah asked. "No." I said as I plopped my phone on the couch . "He said we where were going to hang out tommorow then he doesn't answer his phone ?" I asked myself. "Ill be right back." Sarah told me.  I nodded.

Sarah's P.O.V

"I got a call from Eric and went upstairs."

Eric's P.O.V/ Phone call

"Hey Sarah I need some advice.." I said.

"Eric shouldn't you be on the phone with Jessica?" I asked.

"Yeah I'm gonna call her but I needed some advice." he said.

"Okay what?" I asked.

"Well you remember that girl maya who you met yesterday ;well she wants to hang out today." I said.

"Eric I don't know what to tell you but I know jess doesn't like Emma already so I think you should tell her that you can hang out with her next time."

"Ok thanks." I said as I hung up the phone.

I texted emma "maybe another time." I got in my car started the engine and before I drove to jessicas I got a message on my phone.

"Oh well today was my birthday and wanted someone to hang out with but if you cant that's okay." Emma texted. I sighed now I felt bad because I couldn't leave her alone on her birthday.

Jessica's P.O.V

I heard a knock on the door and ran to it hoping it was Eric. I opened the door and saw Eric and jumped into his arms. But when I looked behind him I saw Emma satnding there smiling and waving. I let go of Eric and half smiled. I cocked my eyebrows up and looked at Eric. and asked him what she was doing here without actually saying anything.  "Its her birthday. " he mouthed. "Well were are we going? " she asked. "I don't know but lets go." Eric said. I had my purse, keys, money, gum, and phone.

I don't know what I don't like about her, but I guess I'm going to find out.

After at least 20 minutes of driving we arrived at amusement park. "An amusement park?" I asked smiling. "Yep." Eric said popping the p smiling.

As soon as we were all out the car Emma immeaditly hugged Eric. "Thank you, thank you!" she said smiling.  "Your welcome." Eric said nervously laughing. "Ok what do you guys wanna ride first?" Emma asked. "We can ride whatever you want its your birthday." Eric said. "Yeah lets ride whatever you want to ride." I muttered. "You know its my birthday right?, so lets not mutter." she said rudely. " "Excuse me?" I asked raising an eyebrow at her. " "Why don't  we ride that?" Eric asked nervously. "Do you not get that you're not even supposed to be here?" I asked. "I get that your jealous." she said. "And what would I be jeaulous of ?" I asked?" "This." she said as she pressed her lips to Eric's. "Get off me." Eric yelled. I punched Emma in the face and watched her stumble to the ground. "Don't ever do that again, and if you do or try to and its not in front of me it will be even worse." I said running off.

I didn't know what I was feeling at that moment but I know I wasn't mad at Eric,  I just didn't want to see him right now. Running to the bathroom I went to the sink and washed my face. I didnt know but I had been crying. My face had mascara running down it and my cheeks were flushed. Washing my face one last time, I wiped it with a paper towel then took a deep breath and exicted the bathroom. I walked around not knowing were Eric or that witch Emma was so I sat down at a nearby bench. I let the small breeze take over me before I started crying and put my elbows on my knees and my hands on my face. I didn't care what my face looked like I just wanted Eric here wherever he was.

It had still been a few minutes before someone sat down beside me. "Eric? " I asked turning my face to look at him. "I don't know who this Eric guy is but I'm Daniel." he said holding out his hand. "Hi I'm Jessica. " I said trying to put a smile on my face. "Are you okay? I saw you crying." he said. "Yeah I'm okay I guess." I said pushing my hair out of my face. "Good." he smiled. "I think you might be a stalker." I smiled. "What I'm not a stalker." he laughed. "I'm pretty sure you are. " I said. "Its not stalking you if I'm coming over here to see if you're okay. " he said sweetly. "True." I stated.  After a few moments of looking at each other Daniel finally broke the silence. "Can I have you're number?" he asked pulling out his phone. "Sure." I said as I gave it to him. "Thanks ." he said as he put his phone back in his pocket. I quickly noticed how his muscles shortly flexed and his beautiful brown hair.  I had to say this guy was hot. I mean not as cute as Eric but pretty close. 

After talking and walking with Daniel for a while and I mean a while like 1 hour, I told him I had to go. "Okay bye ill call you later." he smiled. "Okay. " I said smiling and walking away. Now to find Eric since he wasn't coming to find me.

After walking around I saw him sitting on a bench by this fountain. "Hey. " I said as I sat down next to him. "Hey." he said taking my hand in his. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm so sorry." he said. "For what ." I asked. "For letting her kiss me. " he cried. "Because I don't like her I like you." " I know it wasn't you're fault." I said looking in his eyes. As soon as we were about to kiss someone tapped my shoulder. Turning around I saw that it was Daniel... "Hey you left you're phone on the bench.." he said. "Oh thanks." I said taking it from him and putting it in my pocket. "Umm who is this?" he asked. "Oh this is eric ." I said. "Oh you're brother?" he asked. "No my boyfriend." I half smiled. I don't know if it was just me but I saw Daniel tense up just a bit. "Yeah were kinda trying to have conversation here so if you could go it would be great." Eric said. "Eric!" I exclaimed. "No its cool sorry I bothered you. " he said walking away. "I turned to eric with a mad look on my face.  "Really?" I asked. "What oh did you want him to be your knew boyfriend?" he asked. "No but you could've been nicer!" I yelled. "Whatever." he muttered. I stood up walking away with tears forming in my eyes. "Jess wait." Eric said running up to me. "I'm sorry." he said. "You know I think we need a break, a long break. I said. Eric seemed so shocked. "I'm sorry." he said. "Things haven't been going great between us so I think we need to spilt up for a while." I said tears falling down my face. " Really?  he asked.  I nodded. "Okay if that's what you want. " he said. We walked to the car and drove back to my  house. "Bye ." I muttered as I got out the car. As soon as shut the door Eric drove off.

Sighing I made my way into the house and went upstairs. "Hey. " my sister Sarah said. "Hey. " I said trying to sound as normal as possible. "You okay?" Sarah asked. "No I told Eric that I that I think we need a long break." I said. "Why?" she asked. "Its a long story. " I said. "I'm up for it." she said sitting on the couch in the living room. Walking to the couch I sat down and told her the story. "You know how long this breakup might be right?" Sarah asked me. "No I was just thinking.   1 week." I said. "Well it could be that short for you guys but Marcus and I breakup was for about a month. " she said. "A month! I cant go that long without seeing him, I can barely go for a week. I said sadly. "Well why don't you go call him?" she asked. Chewing my lip I thought about for a moment. "Okay ill do it ..I said standing up ..ill do it next week. I said running out of the room. "Jessica!" Sarah yelled coming after me. I headed up the stairs and made it to my room slamming the door and locking it fast. "Oh Jessica I have you're phone you left on the couch." she sang. "Crap" I said to myself it must've  fell out of my pocket. Then I heard the worst thing ever my phone rang. "Oh look who it is, it's Daniel?" she said/asked. " "Who Daniel? " she asked. "You don't know him so put my phone down." I said. "How about I answer it." she said evilly. "You wouldn't." I said scared. "Hello?" i heard her say.  "Hey Jessica." Daniel said. I opened the door and tried to snatch the phone from Jessica but she turned around. Leaving me no choice I jumped on her back and wachted as my phone flew on the floor on its back. Sarah and I turned our heads to each other then to the phone. Both diving for it I got it first and ran into my room again closing and locking the door. "Good for you Jessica good for you.
