Theres nothing like Us

It was the day of the party and  I was sitting up at 4 am in my bed trying to cope with what I let these crazy people talk me into. I mean inviting Eric to the party? Really? I mean I haven't seen the guy in months but It would be nice to see him again. I don't know what I'm going to do maybe I can run away from It. But who ditches their own party? Uhh this world is confusing.
Eric's P.O.V
Im looking at Kennedy who's asleep on my bed. Don't worry we didn't do anything but she did come over earlier and we played games then she fell asleep. We've been hanging out for three weeks now and shes a good friend and all but I don't see her as the girlfriend type and I'm sure she feels the same. I got invited to Jessicas party and I actually plan on going but just for the food and games of course. I got her a present but I'm not giving It to immediately when I get there because amber and I have a plan. Everyone knows already and by everyone I mean as in kayla, Jake, jessicas parents, and that's about it. Im really nervous but I hope I can pull It off.

Jessicas P.O.V/The Party

"Wake up birthday girl!" someone yelled.
I opened my eyes to see my mom, dad, kayla, Sarah, Jake, and amber standing around my bed.
"Happy birthday!" they screamed.
"Thank you!" I smiled.
"That's not all!" my dad said. He whistled and I couldn't believe my eyes when it came in.
"A dog!" I exclaimed while it jumped on my bed running towards me.
It was brown and white with ears that stood up and he was adorable.
"Thank you! " I said as I got up and hugged my parents.
"Your welcome sweetie." my dad said.
"Well lets get this party started!" kayla yelled.
"Whoo!" everyone cheered leaving my room except Sarah.
Coming to hug me she said "I cant believe my baby sister is turning 17!" she cried.
"I'm only 1 year younger." I said.
"Are you trying to ruin the moment?" she asked.
"Of course not. " i said . "That's your job."
"I'm going to ignore that comment and just hug you 1 more time and say Happy Birthday." she said hugging me.
"Thank you." I said smiling.
"Welcome now get dressed. " she said.
"Okay, okay. I said getting up grabbing my toothbrush and going to the bathroom.

"Oh my goodness you look so cute!" Sarah said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes girl." amber said.
"Well maybe If you turn me around I could see for myself!" I said becoming mad.
Kayla, amber, and Sarah have been doing my hair, makeup, and picking out clothes for me for the past hour.
"Ok you ready?" kayla asked.
"Yes yes I am ready ive been ready. " I said blankly.
They finally revealed me to myself and I had to say they did an amazing job.
Instead of my hair straight, they curled it. My make up was cat eyeliner with mascara and my lips hot pink. I stood up looking at my outfit. I had a black skater skirt on, a black crop, a pink and black leather jacket, and black flats.
"Thank you guys!" I said as I engulfed the 3 of them in a big hug.
"Ok your welcome now lets us go because we cant breath and your messing our makeup up." amber said weakly.
Letting them go I mumbled "That's what you get for holding me in that death trap for so long."
"You mean the chair?" kayla asked.
"Excatly." I said.
"Okay lets go downstairs to make sure everything is right and Jake isn't eating everything up." Sarah said.
"Okay. " I said as we all went downstairs.
Walking downstairs everything was amazing we had black and white streamers hung up, my cake that was buttermilk vannila cream with the words that said "HAPPY 17 BIRTHDAY JESSICA!" in blue. We had a dance floor set up and food and drinks which were, nachos, hot dogs, pizza and some appetizers. For the drinks we had coca cola, sprite, some water bottles hid in the back of the fridge along with some other drinks.  My mom said we couldn't have any beer and she and my dad wasn't gonna be here because they were letting us have some' teenager time' or so they said.
The backyard had lights and a pool and a tire swing but I don't think people are going to go back there.
"This looks great. " I said looking around the house when my eyes landed on the huge stereo system.
"Were having a dj?" I asked.
"No they were booked so were just gonna play all the songs you like on shuffle, so come pick out at least 40 songs." Sarah said.
"40?" I asked scrolling at the long list of music on the connected stereo music.
"Yeah what do you want?" she asked.
"How long is this party?" I asked ashamed I didn't know my own birthday party hours.
"Uh 7 to 11  she said and added but who knows these kind of party's last until 3 in the morning."
"Yeah I'm locking my door."  I said.
"I already locked the doors except the bathrooms." Sarah said.
"Okay so lets look at the songs. " I said clicking on them.
When I finally finished at 6 I laid down on the couch.
"You're finally done? " carla said laughing.
"Yep." I said smiling.
"We'll get up people are coming. " she said.
"What its only 6 ." I said.
"Yeah funny story see when you we're picking the songs we set your time on your phone up 50 minutes so you could go faster." she smiled.
"That's not fair so its 6:50?" I asked sadly.
"I'm afraid so." she said nodding.
"Uh fine." I said getting up.
"Knock, knock, knock." someone said.
Walking to the door I took a deep breath in and opened it.
It seemed like thoausands of kids were in here already when in reality It was only like 100 people.
"Who's ready to get this party started?" amber yelled.
"We are." someone yelled back.
"Lets get this party started!" someone else said.
