Chapter 4: Where?

(Natasha's POV)

Ugh my head hurts....
I look up and there is a white light blinding me. I try to move my hand to block out that light but I soon realized that my arms are tied to a metal bench, as are my legs.

I was just at Peps House. God why do I always end up tied somewhere.
I squirmed around trying to see if I could slip out.I tried but of course it didn't work.The light was still beaming into my eyes. I mumbled some curse words as the light beamed.
Ugh the light is giving me a headache.

I examine my surroundings. It's a small cold room with one light other than the one that's burning into my eyes. There was a small machine in the corner and a pencil.
No one is here...

Then the grey steel door opens. A tall man comes out. I don't know who it is but I know they are not my friend.
From that figure 3 other men come out from behind. They were armed if course.

"I'm glad you are awake.." The man said giving me an evil glare. He walked up to me leaving the other 3 guys guarding the door.
Russian accent

"What do you want from me?" I asked annoyed.
"Oh I don't want anything from you Natalie."
Natalie.. what...
My blood got cold. I looked at the man with anger.
"What do you want?" I ask again heartlessly.
"I'm surprised you haven't guessed it yet.."
He paces back and forth around me.
I gritted my teeth.
"WHAT do you want?" I asked for the 3rd time.
He bent down near my face.

"Your too close." I said making an appalled face at him.  He laughed to himself. He don't move away.
"Natalie......... give me the serum." I spit in his face.
"What serum?" I lied. I knew exactly what he was talking about.

Flashback

I walked down the HYDRA base into a closed off room. I hacked in and opened the door. The door let out a loud screech and a small case popped out.
There stood a yellow serum in a testing tube. It looked like it was only a prototype. I took it quickly causing an alarm to go off. I shoved it into my belt.

I ran out of the room and kicked some HYDRA agents and flipped them over. One reached of my belt but I tased them before they could touch it.

I ran to the nearest window and jumped out. Then I ran till I found a small town. I went inside a store and bought new clothes and a wig. I changed in the bathroom there. I kept my belt and strapped it onto my new brown pants.

I heard sirens.
Hydra...
I then snuck out to the back and found a red car. Then I punched the window and started up the car. I then drove away. No one noticed me luckily.

I eventually got back to the airport to go back to New York. I hated being away in a different country with no back up or friends. I usually get paired up with Steve or Clint. Clint was taking care of Nathaniel who was just born about 2 months ago.

And Steve... actually I don't know why he wasn't assigned with me. I missed him, talking to him, fighting beside him. It was always nice to be with him. I know getting inside would have been way easier with him but I could do it on my own.

I then went back to New York.

When I got back I gave Fury the yellow serum.
'What is it?' I asked
'It's a serum that HYDRA was going to use on people to make them turn into a brain washed assassin except they would also have some sort of knowledge key that let them know what next attack would be.'
'So if I where to kick them.. they would know?'
'Exactly... that's why we need it away from them. It will be save here.'
I nodded and left Fury's office.

"Give me the serum! I know you took it!"
"I took nothing!" I replied.
"Oh really?"
"Yes!"

One of the three men spoke up, "Maybe she has a poor memory, sir."
The main man glared at him and took his pistol and shot him in the chest. I closed my eyes so I wouldn't have to look at the sight. It's not like I've never seen it before but I voudront handle much the moment.

He then laughed at his kill. He put out his pistol and got some other sort of gun. It had an orange needle on it. He stuck it into my neck with his index finger on the trigger.

"Tell me where it is." He intensely yelled.
"I don't know what you are taking about or where it is!" I fought back.

He then pushed the orange needle into my neck. The pain was immense. It felt cold at first then felt like fires were blazing at my neck and burning my skin. Then my skin started to bubble up.

It went black.

Hey guys! I know this is really short and I'm sorry. This is kinda a 'filler' chapter. The next one or two will be as well but trust me it gets better. Also I know this didn't have any romance or anything but I feel like it would be boring if it was just that. It needs action.
